The 2nd edition of the FOA Ethiopia Short Film Festival and Maleda Awards will take place at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa with the participation of ambassadors, invited guests, performers, and local and international broadcast media. The 11 humanitarian categories of the Maleda Awards will honor notable heroes who have made outstanding contributions to the community of people with disabilities. The films submitted for this year's FoA Ethiopia will be recognized and awarded in more than 11 categories additionally inside the FOA Ethiopia short film festival.
The award ceremony is on Saturday 24 December 2022 at the Skylight Hotel. It will include a movie screening, a bazaar and exhibition with booths from more than 20 NGOs and more than 30 people with disabilities, an award and red-carpet night, and many other side events.

British Council held a Heritage Photo Competition for highschool and campus students as part of it's heritage protection programme that runs yearly to preserve and document heritages at risk due to climate change and conflict. The council collected 365 photos from which three winners were selected.
A photo exhibition will be launched on ArtCreates 23 December @atmosphere251 to showcase the works of the prominent UK photographer, Nick Dazinger and top 5 heritage photo competition winning students work .
