Mulu Legesse, a sculptor by training will be showcasing her art work focusing on the state of women in vulnerable and intimate spaces. Her latest series ‘Free/ነዻ’ reflects Mulu’s current mental state and is inspired by her time as a new mother. Through each canvas, Mulu claims back her freedom from a challenging transition into motherhood.
Her art will be showcased at Studio 11 from 14-28 January 2023.
