ArtCreates is an initiative spearheaded by the British Council in collaboration with LinkUp Addis, with the aim of enhancing the creative industry in Ethiopia. The upcoming event is scheduled to take place on the 29th of July 2023 at the Atmosphere venue, with doors opening at 5:00PM and a panel discussion commencing at 6:00PM. ArtCreates presents Maranata Tegegne. First Ethiopian AFRIMA nominee, that turned his enthusiasm into a career. As a person with a strong passion for filmMaking and music, he persued a study in film regardless of his Bachelors. Following a career in creative directing and writing for an Ad agency, Maranata grew to become co-founder and creative director of his own company, Meedo Records where he manages artists.
With an impressive resume and years in the creative industry, Maranata will be joining us this Saturday at ArtCreates to share his experience.
