Meta Abo Brewery S.C. Sold to BGI Ethiopia for 64 Birr.

According to a report published by The Reporter, Diageo sold its stake in Meta Abo Brewery S.C. to BGI Ethiopia for a mere 60 birr an equivalent to one euro and the remaining four shareholders sold their stake to BGI 4 Birr each.
The Reporter newspaper further reported that Herve Milhade, CEO of BGI Ethiopia, did not contradict the information (and not confirmed it) attributing the low price to Meta's financial struggles.
