He highlighted an experience where he paid 120 Birr to transfer 50k from Bank of Abyssinia to CBE using mobile banking. Also, he mentioned a 100 Birr deduction from a CBE cheque when withdrawing from another bank. Fistum pointed out that transaction fees across banks are becoming prohibitively expensive.
