EU Visa Suspension in Ethiopia

The Ethiopian government has expressed disappointment in response to the recent decision by the European Union Council to temporarily suspend certain aspects of visa issuance for Ethiopian nationals.

The decision was criticized for its timing, as both parties were actively collaborating on the orderly return of Ethiopians lacking legal permits to stay in EU member states.
