Each year, graduates who successfully complete the scholarship period will receive additional training at film academies and industry villages in New York, India, and South Africa.

French satellite television channel Canal Plus is set to exit Ethiopian market after three years of operation. According to sources cited by Meseret Media, the decision stems from the channel's struggles to achieve profitability due to difficulties in penetrating the market. Despite serving a considerable number of subscribers, Canal Plus has not been able to establish a strong enough presence to sustain its business in Ethiopia.
