Fire at Shema Tera Merkato Destroys Four Bank Branches
The fire that broke out on Monday at Shema Tera in Merkato destroyed at least four commercial bank branches. The affected branches include Ethiopian Commerce Bank, Amara Bank, Nib Bank, and Oromia Cooperative Bank, all located in Shema Tera. Several shops were also completely destroyed in the blaze, and large-scale looting was reported in nearby shops following the incident.
