Ethiopia Launches Pan-African ManuTech Hub.

The UNDP and the Ethiopian Ministry of Industry, in collaboration with the inter-ministerial startup committee, announce the launching of a hub that aims to catalyze innovation and collaboration around manufacturing technology in Africa.
Part of the timbuktoo initiative, the ManuTech Hub will base in Addis Ababa selecting participants selected biannually from across the continent through an open and competitive process.
Participating manufacturing startups will the got through a hybrid 3-month acceleration program.

Renowned Ethiopian singer Ejigayehu Shibabaw, also known as Gigi, is featured in the newly released Gladiator 2 soundtrack!

Composed by Harry Gregson-Williams, the music continues the epic legacy of the original score by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard.

The soundtrack was released in November 2024, and it has received high praise for enhancing the cinematic experience of the highly anticipated sequel.
