In November 2024, The Earthshot Prize (TEP) opened for entries for its 2025 cohort following a record-breaking year for nominations and a historic first awards ceremony on the African continent. TEP seeks innovative solutions for its five Earthshots: Protect and Restore Nature; Clean Our Air; Revive Our Oceans; Build a Waste-Free World; and Fix Our Climate. This year's cycle saw over 2,000 entries from 139 countries. The awards ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa, was celebrated and broadcasted live by MultiChoice. Each Winners receive £1 million to scale their solutions, contributing to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

TEP seeks the next generation of environmental pioneers with bold ideas to repair the planet. Anyone is encouraged to apply here.
