The Alliance Ethio-Francaise Cinema will host a screening of The Cemetery of Cinema by Thierno Souleymane Diallo on Tuesday, April 8th, at 6pm.

The film explores the search for Mouramani (1953), considered the first film by a Black French-speaking director, Mamadou Touré, whose prints remain lost.

Blending road-movie elements with reflections on cinema’s past and future, the documentary combines humor, tenderness, and a call for cultural preservation.
