Nah, ini dia penghuni kamar sebelah, Hanan dan Daze. Sebagai salah satu pemilik kost, sebenernya gue cukup skeptis antara pingin ngusir mereka berdua atau enggak. Ya gimana ya, berisiknya bukan main. Lo pada tau gak sih kayak dua maba rantau tapi dari kota yang sama, nah udah cocok banget itu berdua. Berasa baru dewasa, bebas dari rumah, langsung pingin belajar nakal. Mereka nih emang bikin suasana kost jadi rame sih, kamar siapa aja dimasukkin—yang paling sering kamar Abel dan Eze pastinya. Tapi karena eksistensi mereka berdua udah mulai terusir dari tempat tersebut, sekarang mereka suka mampir ke kamar bawah—penghuninya Djati sama Eduard. Seringnya sih minta diajarin kalau ada tugas, kalau gak ya nyeritain gebetan baru. Ibaratnya mah, mereka udah kayak anak angkat Djati sama Eduard gitu deh sekarang. Sebagai yang paling muda, mereka paling enak dibego-begoin sama yang lain, tapi paling disayang juga. Pernah waktu itu mamanya Hanan dateng, ditanya-tanyain Hanan gimana selama di sini. Pada ngelindungin dia sambil ngomong yang baik-baik; misalnya kayak pulang tepat waktu, padahal sering gak dibukain pintu karena baru balik jam 3. Nah kalau si Daze, dia suka banget sama makanan. Saking sukanya, punya yang lain pun dia telen juga. Di dapur kalau ada ribut-ribut nanyain siapa nyolong ini itu, Daze mah diem aja acts innocent, padahal perutnya udah kenyang. Hal positivenya, mamanya Hanan yang suka dateng itu sering ngasih makanan. Jadi ya gitu deh, dosanya Daze ditebus sama si Hanan. Bahkan waktu itu pernah si Daze ngambil nuggetnya Madrid, dikukus buat nyemil, Madrid gak jadi ngamuk karena Hanan langsung gantiin nuggetnya—sebenernya minta ditransfer sama mamanya buat beli. Udah bonding banget lah mereka berdua, walaupun ujung-ujungnya dikata-katain si Daze di kamar, tapi mereka tetep saling sayang. Lah, genrenya jadi homo gini.

Next, ini kombinasi yang gak cocok sebenernya, tapi saling melengkapi. Siapa yang ngira Madrid bakal sekamar sama Shanan. Sebenernya Madrid udah mau bayar double biar dapet kamar sendiri, tapi udah terlanjur full kost kita. Mereka berdua gak kenal satu sama lain, terus punya kepribadian yang bertolak belakang banget. Madrid anaknya bebas, petakilan, kalau malem suka ngumpul di balkon bareng yang lain. Sementara Shanan kalau tidur selalu tepat waktu, jam 9 lampu kamar udah mati. Awal-awal ngekost, Madrid kalau masuk kamar suka awkward terus sungkan gitu, apalagi kalau masuknya telat. Setiap lihat Shanan tuh rasanya kayak mau sungkem dia. Cuma makin ke sini ternyata mereka mulai nemu kecocokan. Shanan yang super bersih, rapi, dan tertata, bisa bikin Madrid ngikutin kebiasaanya itu. Pun sebaliknya, Shanan akhir-akhir ini udah sering ikut Madrid nongkrong sama yang lain, lebih terbuka untuk ngobrol, kelayapan dan gak cuma belajar di kamar. Ibaratnya mah kayak, you taught me how to live well and I taught you how to truly enjoy life. Aduh anjir trope apaan ini buset. Both of them nih udah lulus kuliah, keperluannya ngerantau buat kerja. Mahasiswa-mahasiswa semester akhir kayak si Abraham atau Reiner sering banget tuh ngedeketin, sepik nanyain ada loker ordal gak, Bang? Madrid yang lempeng-lempeng aja sebenernya udah mau tuh ngajakin mereka, tapi langsung mingkem waktu Shanan ngomel-ngomel anti nepotisme. Gak tau deh, Madrid nurut banget kalau Shanan udah ngomong, kayak udah lah lo bener gue ngikut. Kalau lagi gak ngumpul bareng anak-anak yang lain, mereka suka ngopi bareng Djati sama Eduard. Diajak ngobrolin hal-hal berat gitu. Walaupun kadang Madrid gak mudeng ini pembahasannya apa, terus manggut-manggut doang sambil ngechatin Shanan biar kabur bareng. Tapi Shanan mah chill aja, justru tipe obrolan dia yang kayak gini. Ujung-ujungnya pergi duluan dia, kabur ke kamar Daze sama Hanan, tidurin kasurnya udah kayak bos. Mereka mah gak bisa protes, diem aja udah nurut. Kalau gak nurut nanti gak dijajanin lagi soalnya.
