On November 1st, our school invited a foreign teacher, Mr. Smith, to give a lecture on “How to Improve Our English” in the school auditorium.
The lecture was very popular among the students. During the lecture, Mr. Smith shared his experience in learning English and gave us some useful tips. He also encouraged us to practice speaking English as much as possible. All the students were very interested and asked a lot of questions.
I was deeply impressed by the lecture. Mr. Smith’s enthusiasm and knowledge of English inspired us to work harder on our English. I believe that with his help, we can make great progress in English.
