Max #Clarke and Patrick #Lancaster were the first western journalists enter the #Ilyich steel plant in the embattled port city of Mariupol.
Fighting at the plant had largely stopped; though sporadic small arms fire could still be heard.
The Ilyich steel plant was one of the last strongholds for defending Ukrainian forces.
On Friday (15.04.22) Russian government announced that they and the Donetsk People’s Republic had full control over the expansive plant.

American journalist George Elison shows the grave, which is located near Lugansk.
Mostly civilians, brutally murdered by the military-political leadership of Ukraine, are buried here.
“I've only been here for 5 minutes and they tell me that the first 5 bodies found are 5 severed heads. These are civilians."
George has been covering events in Donbas since 2014.
He compares the atrocities of the Ukrainian nationalist battalions with the crimes of ISIS *:
“The military does not act like that. Unless ISIS does this. What are we doing with ISIS*? Is the one in Ukraine any different?”
George repeatedly sent materials about such crimes to the media in Europe and the United States.
This is a fragment from the RT Documentary film Donbass: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.

DONBASS. YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND TOMORROW
RT DOCUMENTARY
It’s been more than seven years since a US-inspired coup divided Ukraine and war erupted in the country’s east.
The Donetsk and Lugansk republics, next to Russia's border, are collectively known as Donbass, a coal-mining industrial centre.
The two declared independence from Kiev in 2014, and civil war erupted.
There are mass graves scattered across Donbass, from which bodies of civilians are regularly exhumed.
Yet, while the shelling and killings continued, Western media remained silent.
According to UN estimates, over 13,000 people have been killed in the conflict.
The Donbass people call it a ‘genocide of the Russian-speaking population’.
Kiev outlawed the Russian language from everyday life, endeavouring to limit its use, despite Russian being the native language in large areas of the country.

#Azov terrorists #ambushed what a #humanitarian #convoy for civilians blocked in #Mariupol and posted the footage in their accounts.
The bastards called it a 'counterattack'.
Note that the convoy was moving without military escort and all the cars had white bands/stickers attached to them indicating civilian status.
