The most interesting Director of ManU is Robert Leitao. He is Managing Partner of Rothschild & Co Gestion, the top holding company of the Rothschild & Co Group and Co-Chairman of the Rothschild & Co Group Executive Committee. He is also Head of Rothschild & Co’s Global Advisory business, worldwide, and Chief Executive of NM Rothschild & Sons.

Mihir Bose, in his book Manchester Disunited had a chapter called "How Rothschild rescued the Glazers' dream".

He claims that NM Rothschild stepped in at the last minute to provide part of the financing for the £800m deal when money from one of the Glazer family's hedge fund backers in New York failed to be transferred in time to buy the shares from JP McManus et al.

Apart from the Rothschild connection what would the WEF get from being in bed with Manchester United ?

The answer to that question would seem to fall into the area of Covid passes and v certs. What better way to try and implement something really controversial than getting one of the largest clubs in the world on board at the outset

The WEF have also been quick to sign up one former MU stalwart in the shape of Rio Ferdinand who also works for BT group. Rio was originally a Young Global Leader (a site owned by WEF). Both Rio & BT group are in the WEF. BT show Premiership games

What's even more interesting is that Rio is an investor in a company called Prenetics. It so happens that Prenetics have the contract for Covid-19 testing in the Premier League

Poland’s Defence Minister Mariusz Błaszczak on Friday said Warsaw and Vilnius were working together to counter “hybrid attacks” by neighbouring Belarus, as he hosted his Lithuanian counterpart Arvydas Anušauskas during wide-ranging two-way talks in the Polish capital.

The two defence ministers also discussed military cooperation, according to Błaszczak, including joint drills between the Polish and Lithuanian brigades from NATO’s Multinational Division North East, which operates out of the northern Polish city of Elbląg.

There are plans to set up a trilateral brigade with Ukraine to pool experience and help bring Kyiv’s army up to speed with NATO standards, Błaszczak said, adding that another round of Polish-Lithuanian defence consultations would take place in Vilnius early next year.

Turkey delivers first combat drones to Morocco for conflict with Western Sahara, Algeria

RABAT: Morocco took delivery earlier this month of Turkish combat drones, the Far-Maroc unofficial website dedicated to military news reported. The report, also carried by several local media outlets, comes as tensions have spiked between Morocco and neighboring Algeria in recent weeks.

The two countries are mainly at odds over the disputed Western Sahara territory, and Algeria severed ties with Morocco in August claiming “provocations and hostile” action by its neighbor.

Relations took another blow this week when Algeria on Wednesday said it has closed off its airspace to all Moroccan civilian and military traffic.

According to Far-Maroc, the North African kingdom ordered 13 Bayraktar TB2 drones from Turkey in April and a first batch of the unmanned aircraft arrived this month. Rabat, said the report, seeks to “modernize the arsenal of the Moroccan Armed Forces (FAR) in order to prepare for any danger and recent hostilities”, but did not elaborate on these topics.

Al Saud War on Yemen:

LARGE EXPLOSIONS AT KEY SAUDI FORCES CAMP ATTRIBUTED TO HOUTHI MISSILE STRIKE (VIDEOS)

Late on September 23, a series of explosions rocked al-Khashinah military camp which is located in Jubah district to the south of the central Yemeni city of Ma’rib.

The camp, which hosts Saudi-backed forces, was severally damaged as a result of the explosions, which went on until the morning of September 24. The camp’s ammunition depots were reportedly wiped out.

Yemeni sources said that a pinpoint missile strike by the Houthis (Ansar Allah) was behind the explosions at al-Khashinah camp. The Yemen group is yet to confirm this.

Some state troopers are saying they will quit rather than get a vaccine.


“Dozens” of state troopers fed up with the governor’s vaccine mandate are filing paperwork to quit the force as a Superior Court judge has denied any delay in the mandate that kicks in Oct. 17.

“Many of these troopers are going to be returning to their previous municipal police departments within the state that allow for regular testing and masks,” said union boss Michael Cherven. “To date, dozens of troopers have already submitted their resignation paperwork.”

The State Police Association of Massachusetts said in a statement shared with the Herald Friday that allowing the union representing 1,800 members to negotiate with the Baker administration was their preferred route.
