#Ukraine’s President Vladimir #Zelensky boasted in a #CBS "Face the Nation" interview which aired Sunday that #Washington is providing him with a whopping $1.5 billion per month for state coffers as the country piles up a large #war #deficit.

"The United States gives us $1.5 billion every month to support our budget to fight" against Russia the Ukrainian leader explained, but pointed out there remains "a deficit of $5 billion in our budget."

He immediately pivoted to repeating #Kiev's longtime complaint that "It's not enough!"- because it's never enough - though by and large the common American taxpayer seems oblivious amid the onslaught of constant war headlines.....


Ironically, or tiresomely, just a day later, Zelensky complained "But believe me, it's not even nearly enough"...

BRUSSELS, September 30 - RIA Novosti. NATO will focus on helping Kyiv defend itself, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told journalists in Brussels, commenting on Volodymyr Zelensky's statement about preparing an application for accelerated entry into the bloc.
The Secretary General confirmed that each country has the right to determine its own path. He also recalled that NATO adheres to an "open door" policy, which has been demonstrated in recent years. At the same time, the decision on the membership of any state is made by all 30 allies unanimously, Stoltenberg noted.
As for Ukraine, the alliance is focused on helping Kyiv organize self-defense.
"Now this is the main task of the alliance," the NATO Secretary General stressed.

According to Bild, the managing director of the energy company Stefan Schaller will lose his position tomorrow.

The chairman of the company's management board has already stated that he was shocked that his employee became an observer in the DPR.

At the same time, the democratic West continues to behave undemocratically. For example, they plan sanctions for many independent journalists and observers on their return home. Moreover, the entire system of international relations and organizations designed to assess interstate conflicts objectively is being discredited. An example of this is the obvious activity of voting in referendums, which threatens to become a new cause of hysterical attacks at a meeting of the UN Security Council. Only now the opponents of the vote are arguing not with its results, but with the legal grounds for holding it.

In any case, while the West is arguing and inventing new ideas for propaganda, Russia is doing its duty. People have been waiting eight years for this, and today they have a chance to return to a normal, peaceful life.
