The reaction to the #sabotage of three of the four #NordStream 1 and 2 #pipelines in four places on Monday, September 26, has focused on speculations about who did it and whether #NATO will make a serious attempt to discover the answer.

Yet instead of panic, there has been a great sigh of diplomatic relief, even calm.

Disabling these pipelines ends the uncertainty and worries on the part of #US/#NATO diplomats that nearly reached a crisis proportion the previous week, when large #demonstrations took place in #Germany calling for the sanctions to end and to commission NordStream 2 to resolve the #energycrisis.

The German public was coming to understand what it will mean if their #steel companies, #fertilizer companies, #glass companies and #toiletpaper companies were shutting down.

These companies were forecasting that they would have to go out of business entirely – or shift operations to the United States – if Germany did not withdraw from the trade and currency sanctions against Russia and permit Russian gas and oil imports to resume, and presumably to fall back from their astronomical eight to tenfold price increase......

German industrial exports and attraction of foreign investment inflows were major factors supporting the euro’s exchange rate.

To Germany, the great attraction in moving from the deutsche mark to the euro was to avoid its export surplus pushing up the D-mark’s exchange rate and pricing German products out of world markets.

Expanding the eurozone to include Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and other countries running balance-of-payments deficits prevented the euro from soaring.

#Pfizer #CEO Albert #Bourla will not testify before the EU #Parliament’s special committee on #COVID-19 later this month.

The committee was expected to grill Bourla over the company’s secretive #vaccine deals he struck with European Commission President Ursula #VonDerLeyen.

The deal preceeded the distribution of the Pfizer vaccine to Europe.

Other Big Pharma companies have already testified with the committee.


Von der Leyen was directly involved in preliminary negotiations for the EU’s biggest vaccine contract.

The total amount of Western military assistance to Ukraine has reached $85 billion, or 7% of the total budget of all NATO members. This makes Ukraine Number 3 this year in terms of military budget.

🇩🇪🇩🇰🇸🇪Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser Following the explosions on the Nordstream pipelines in the Baltic Sea, Germany will support Denmark and Sweden in a joint team in the investigation.

Russia,as the affected party, is not included in the group.

Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) told BILD am SONNTAG: "All indications point to acts of sabotage on the Nordstream pipelines. Germany is working very closely with Denmark and Sweden to clarify the background. It has been agreed with my counterparts: we now want to form a joint investigation Team – a joint investigation group under EU law, to which all three countries are sending investigators.“
This serious attack on the European energy infrastructure must be clarified. This requires the expertise of the Navy, police and intelligence services, according to Faeser.

🇺🇲🇷🇺 NATO has sent an intelligence report to member countries warning of the "missing from the base" of the Russian nuclear submarine K-329 Belgorod, which carries up to 6 Poseidon torpedoes - known as the "Paladin of the Apocalypse" - La Repubblica reported.

The US has activated a satellite network to track torpedoes by the temperature the torpedoes emit when they are activated, but they are unable to detect them underwater.

Italian Newspaper La Repubblica reports that NATO has sent an intelligence warning to its allies which states the Russian K329 Belgorod nuclear submarine has been mobilized, located somewhere in the arctic sea, fearing the Submarine is looking to test the Status-6 “doomsday” nuclear superweapon.

The K329 is armed with the “superweapon” Status 6 - Poseidon oceanic multi-purpose system— also known as the “doomsday weapon”, The nuclear torpedos have an unlimited range and are impossible to track according to available information. The K329 also carries another “midget” submarine on its belly.
