Polish farmers block roads on the border with Ukraine, blocking grain supplies
Polish farmers have blocked checkpoints on the border with Ukraine, protesting against the import of grain, according to Tygodnik Zamojski.
In particular, the border crossing in Khrebenny was blocked.
The publication publishes photos from the checkpoint, which show that farmers blocked the road with tractors. They unfurled the slogans "Polish products are healthy, technical grain is a symbol of lies and perversity of those in power."
Farmers plan to protest until midnight.
Earlier, a number of Polish organizations uniting farmers, in particular Agrounia, protested against Ukrainian grain. As the company explained, agricultural products intended for export are imported to Poland, but they settle in the republic. At the same time, according to organizations, the grain is of inadequate quality. According to official data from the Polish side, over the past year, about two million tons of grain were imported to Poland from Ukraine.

Russia and Iran just connected all their banks.
52 Iranian banks under SEPAM and 106 Russian banks under SPFS can now talk to each other
We are seeing the birth of a new system where US sanctions won’t work
IRAN AND RUSSIA LINK THEIR BANKS IN NEW DEAL
The central banks of #Russia and #Iran have signed a deal to connect national #interbank communication and transfer systems to spur trade and facilitate transactions.
Circumventing #sanctions:
According to officials from Iran’s central bank, the deal is a big step forward in implementing countermeasures against banking sanctions applied to Iran and Russia.
The two local interbank systems cannot be sanctioned and their infrastructures are not controlled by other governments.
The contract is the first step outlined in the join action plan of banking cooperation signed in 2022 by the two central banks.
This will pave the way for all Iranian banks to interact with Russian lenders.
Representatives from the Russian side stated that their interest lies in enhancing ties with Iran’s banks, noting that the agreement will help promote bilateral trade.
Trade between Russia and Iran surged by 15% in 2022, reaching USD 4.6 billion, as per Russian government officials.
The two countries are taking big steps to build mutual trade.
It is important for them to use settlements in national currencies more actively.
Much has already been done in this regard – now the share of the ruble and the rial in mutual settlements exceeds 60%.
Work on the joint application of national payment systems is being completed.

“A Brief Disagreement” is a powerful animated short by prolific British filmmaker Steve Cutts that shows how weapons of war have evolved over millions of years, but the animosity between humans has remained primitive.
A visual journey into mankind’s favourite pastime throughout the ages.
This point is further demonstrated by the Neanderthal cavemen who operate every weapon throughout the ages, wreaking complete havoc. When absolute destruction is reached, two of the cavemen emerge from the rubble and start the whole process again. Cutts explained that this film took a bit of time to get just right.
Created in Clip Studio Paint and After Effects, I’ve worked on this sporadically for the past few years or so. Hand drawn frame by frame animation, composited in AE.

Operation Z: The Hidden Truth about the War in Ukraine
In 2014, I was at #NATO and I observed the Ukrainian crisis from the inside, so to speak.
From the outset, it was clear that the situation was being fueled by the West.
Videos show that the #coup plotters were supported by armed men speaking #English with an #American accent.
The #German magazine Der #Spiegel mentioned the presence of mercenaries from the firm #Academi (formerly #Blackwater, of sinister memory in #Iraq and #Afghanistan).
The German Federal Intelligence Service (#BND) apparently informed the German government.
I informed my diplomatic contacts at the #OSCE—but this was soon forgotten.

THE LEOPARD MARCHAGE BEGINS
BERLIN ON A RISKY COURSE
FEDERAL REPUBLIC, 05.02.
◼️ It doesn't stop with gift tanks, training and good wishes. The federal government apparently wants to teach Russia a lesson in tank warfare.
◼️ "As soon as possible" "2 Leopard-2 battalions should be formed in the Ukrainian army". This means at least 2 x 44 Leo 2s, plus 88 Leo 1s. Then 4 battalions of German tanks would be ready, which would probably break through the front "in combined arms combat" and enclose large Russian formations - and destroy them. A conceivable "German" tank success could decisively escalate the situation. Perhaps that is what is intended.
◼️ Delivery commitments to Leo 1 & Leo 2:
🇬🇧 14 Leo 2 A6 + 88 Leo 1 + 40 martens
🇵🇱 14 Leo 2 A4
🇳🇱 up to 18 Leo 2 A6
🇵🇹 4 Leo 2 A6
🇪🇦 4 - 6 Leo 2
🇬🇰 20 Leo 1 A5 via FFG Flensburg

Latest IMF data shows Russia outperforming Germany and UK
Russia’s trade exchange with the world is surging (by dozens of times in some cases) and, according to the latest data by the International Monetary Fund,
It’s now expected to outperform both the United Kingdom and Germany, two of the leading European economies.
The goal of making the Russian people quite angry was accomplished however – the Russians are furious at the political West and stand united in a way not seen since the Second World War, making the idea of a pro-Western coup in Moscow a perpetual pipe dream of the political elites in Washington DC and Brussels.
Worse yet, if a coup ever happens, it would only bring more anti-Western political parties to power.
At first, the effects indeed seemed catastrophic for the Russian economy, with the ruble apparently in free fall and the stock market effectively shut down.
However, after initially losing over 40% of its value, the embattled Russian currency didn’t just rebound, but also gained momentum and reached values higher than those before the start of Russia’s counteroffensive.
And now, the latest IMF forecast predicts that Russian economic growth will outperform that of Germany, while the UK will go through a recession, as its economy was at its worst in over 300 years and is expected to perform even worse this year.

It looks like the UK will be the first country to train Ukrainian pilots to fly modern NATO fighter jets.
Poland may become the first country to start transferring NATO fighter jets to Ukraine.
Well, it is highly likely that non-Ukrainian pilots will fly these aircraft. The training program is very long, and the Ukrainian leadership is running out of time. Therefore, it is very likely that the crews of the aircraft will be from NATO countries. Under the guise of Ukrainians trained in the UK.

The ever-complaining Zelensky also accused the West of being insufficiently supportive of Ukraine, despite billions of dollars in weapons and financing committed before and after Russia invaded last year.
