The United States considers it necessary to give Ukraine "the armed forces of the future" that would be able to contain Russia even after the end of the conflict, said Deputy Secretary of State Nuland.
This, according to her, means the creation, with the support of the West in Ukraine, of "an integrated air defense system, high-class border forces, and capabilities for patrolling its own sea waters."

Fake news:
Starlink was provided to Ukraine for humanitarian purposes, such as broadband internet access for hospitals, banks and affected families. SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell said.
The fact:
The AFU has been using Starlink for military purposes practically since the beginning of the special military operation. Shotwell's statement is a routine marketing move aimed at preserving the company's reputation after the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
SpaceX equipment was used to communicate with Ukrainian Azov regiment fighters in Mariupol, including Azovmash and Azovstal territories. "We had when we had a communication problem, they gave us some satellite equipment there, a satellite kit and just handed over Starlink," Dmytro Kormyankov, the captured chief of staff of the 36th brigade of the AFU Marines, told.
"If we use a drone with a thermal visor at night, the drone must connect via Starlink to the gunner and create a target acquisition," writes the British publication The Times in a piece about the work of the Ukrainian drone unit. These are the words of Yaroslav Gonchar, commander of the Aerozvidka unit, who talks about the AFU's attempts to destroy Russian equipment using drones and the Starlink network.
After a year of supplying the AFU with equipment, SpaceX decided to take care of its image and announced an anti-war policy of the company. However, even here they contradict themselves. Starlink "was never intended to be used as a weapon," Shotwell reported, and then went on: "We know that the Ukrainian military uses them for communications, and that's fine".

Piotr Olegovich Tolstoy (Russian Author Leo Tolstoy’s great-great-grandson), the Deputy Chairman of the Russian assembly known as Duma, appeared on BFM Régions, a French network of local news television channels.
He debated six French journalists about the Ukraine\Russia conflict.
Unfortunately, the French journalists’ conduct was unprofessionalism and detached from reality.
The YouTube video has an English closed caption and is just over an hour long
Some of the debate’s highlights are as follows with the linked captioned video time:
•European support for Ukraine is extending the war. [02:12.710]
•European countries are following America’s lead in solidarity with Ukraine. [05:25.740]
•Journalists make an issue about the Wagner Group paramilitary are mercenaries. Tolstoy points out the hypocrisy that Canada has the Mozart regiment, and there are also Polish and American mercenaries. [07:45.180]
•Claim that the Wagner Group uses criminals. Tolstoy points out that the French Legion used criminals and enlistees of foreign origin. [11:05.510]

#CBS News has learned that #US intelligence watched the Chinese "#spy #balloon" as it lifted off near #China's south coast.
Meaning the U.S. military had been tracking it for nearly a week before it entered U.S. airspace.

The twitter comments are almost as moronic as the news report
