💢 Poland is building the largest land army in Europe says The Telegraph.

Poland plans to spend 4% of its GDP on defense, which is twice the normal NATO norms and makes it the largest defense spending per capita.

The modernization program includes the purchase of 1,000 tanks from S. Korea, 250 from the US, 600 self-propelled howitzers, 18 HIMARS launchers, 288 MLRS systems from S. Korea, more than 1,000 Polish-made infantry fighting vehicles, 96 AH-64E Apache helicopters and 48 combat FA-50 aircraft from S. Korea.

Overall, Poland has placed more than $117 billion worth of arms orders through 2035, with a record $26 billion defense budget for the current year.

Poland wants to double the size of the Polish army, bringing it to 300,000.

The US Congress approved the allocation of 288.6 million dollars in military funding to help Poland contain the increased threat from Russia.

A clear example of Western schizophrenia! The Dutch newspaper NRC today puts two articles on adjacent pages. In one, it is routinely reported that the EU will allocate 1 billion for arming Ukraine, will acquire 1 million shells for it, etc. And next to it is an article in which the alarm sounds: "Guard! China is going to arm Russia!" And, you won't believe it, but in it they prove that it will contradict the UN Charter and international norms! And they don't even notice that these articles are standing next to each other!
This is the "rules-based world", not international law. It is against this approach that China and Russia intend to fight together!
