This tendency in our scene for people to call all people who have a critical analysis of capitalism "Marxists" is fucking braindead and highly counter-productive. Nationalists have always supported a mixed market economy, the idea that we have to reject "socialism" as though there is some kind of absolute dichotomy between the economics of Sean Hannity and Leon Trotsky is asinine. Economics should not be a question of ideological team sports, it should be a pragmatic field. The reality is that neoclassical economics is epistemic trash, its a psuedoscuence. Its defense of deregulated "free markets" should be junked, and the only real alternative to it is mixed market developmentalism. No one is seriously proposing a Soviet-style economic system lol, even the Soviets themselves rejected it in the end.

What is more pernicious about the Marxism-panic on the Right however is that it prevents the ruling class from being properly identified. If you can't describe the financial dimension of power without being written off as a "Marxist", Nationalism's fundamental enemy cannot be clearly identified.

Rabbi detained in Abramovich probe

A senior rabbi has been detained by police in Portugal as part of an investigation into how Russian businessman and Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich obtained citizenship in the country.

Rabbi Daniel Litvak was arrested by judicial police officers at the airport in the country’s second-largest city, Porto, on Thursday as he was about to board a flight to Israel, Portuguese daily Publico reported.

Litvak is the head of the Jewish Community of Oporto, which was delegated the task of vetting applications for Portuguese citizenship from descendants of Sephardic Jews.

Void left by ban on key metal from Russia can't be filled: curbs on palladium exports by Moscow could have devastating effects on global markets

South African producers will not be able to make up for a possible reduction in the supply of key commodities from Russia, primarily palladium and other platinum group metals. This was announced on Thursday by South African media firm SABC, citing the director of the largest mining company, Sibanye-Stillwater, Neil Froneman.

“Acceleration of projects to expand production is possible, but a significant increase in production will take months and even years,” Froneman said.

💢Supplying Ukraine with Western arms only serves to worsen the ongoing conflict between Moscow and Kiev, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Saturday, warning that Russian forces could potentially target such deliveries.

👉“We have warned the US that pumping up Ukraine with arms from several nations orchestrated by [Washington] is not just a dangerous move but something that makes these [arms] convoys legitimate targets,” 👈 Ryabkov told Russia’s Channel One. He did not elaborate on where and when Russia might target the convoys.

This is the second time that Russia has stated that it maintained the right under all conventionally accepted rules of war and conflict, to strike Ukrainian assets while in other states.

Russia bases this on the specific threshold of whether a country is "active in hostilities".
