🇺🇦The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine deliberately speculates (https://news.sky.com/story/ukraine-war-military-base-used-for-nato-drills-near-poland-targeted-by-russian-airstrikes-12564880) on possible death of military personnel of NATO countries after a missile attack on the Yavorovsky training ground
"A spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said they are still trying to establish whether any of the NATO instructors were at the site at the time of the attack," media reports said, referring to the Ukrainian defense establishment.
However, such statements are completely out of touch with reality.
All foreign military contingents involved in the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were officially withdrawn from Ukraine even before the start of the operation. The relevant information on American instructors was published on February 12 (https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/exclusive-us-remove-military-trainers-ukraine-officials-2022-02-12/), on Canadian - 13 February (https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-ukraine-military-training-1.6350186), according to the British - February 14 (https://ubn.news/britain-is-withdrawing-its-military -instructors-from-ukraine/).
Based on this, the presence of NATO military personnel in the country now is out of the question.
Obviously, the attempts of the Ukrainian leadership to find the corpses of their Western allies are aimed at drawing NATO into the conflict. In this regard, the West now needs to keep its head as cool as possible and not be led to the outright provocations of Kyiv. For example, it doesn't cost anything to the leadership of the country to change someone into a "NATO uniform" out of hopelessness and wishful thinking.
