Moscow and Kiev bring their stance on neutral status of Ukraine “to the fullest”

Moscow, 18 Mar (EFE) - Moscow and Kiev have brought “as close as possible” their stance on Ukraine's neutral status vis-à-vis NATO, while they are “halfway” in talks on the demilitarization of that country, said today the chief negotiator of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky.
“The issue of a neutral status and Ukraine's non-accession to NATO is one of the key points of the negotiations, and it is on which the parties have brought their positions as close as possible,” he told the Russian media, according to the official TASS agency.
In other aspects of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to reach a ceasefire, especially Moscow's demand that the neighbouring country “denazify” and “demilitarize” still requires work, Medinsky suggested.
With regard to denazification, the situation is “rather strange” - the Ukrainian delegation believes that there are no Nazi entities in Ukraine.

🇮🇳🇷🇺 The state-run Indian Oil Corp. bought 3 million barrels of crude oil from Russia earlier this week to secure its energy needs, resisting Western pressure to avoid such purchases, an Indian government official said Friday.
The official said India has not imposed sanctions against buying oil and will be looking to purchase more from Russia despite calls not to from the U.S. and other countries.
