Turkish brands can occupy niches in Russia vacated with the departure of Western companies
The Turkish government has already developed 4 alternative ways for foreign trade with Russia. This was announced at a press conference by Turkish Trade Minister Mehmet Mus.
▪️Trade in national currencies. For this, the Central Banks of Russia and Turkey open currency swaps (accounts) for mutual settlements.
▪️Turkey's connection to the Russian "Financial Message Transfer System" (similar to SWIFT, from which the largest Russian state-owned banks are disconnected).
▪️ Barter trading.
▪️Trade through third countries.
It is likely that all available options will be used to some extent. To this end, the Turkish Ministry of Commerce has already begun negotiations with all export associations so that foreign trade with Russia is not suspended. And this is almost $35 billion a year.
In addition, the Russian market is now "cleared" of many Western brands.

#Ukraine has finally released, 9 days after the event, video of the civilian "survivors" who were allegedly in the #Mariupol #theatre on March 16th.
Ukraine says hundreds of civilians were killed.
Questions were raised about the validity of the Ukrainian claims because of the lack of photo/video evidence of dead victims and traumatised survivors.
3 photos above are of civilians rescued from bombed buildings in Syria, so that people can see what people look like after a building has just been bombed: covered in dirt and dust and exhibiting signs of trauma
Now look at the Maruipol video: you will notice discrepancies which suggest the video was not recorded on the day of the bombing.
Literally every Ukie claim was that civilians were in a basement, but the people in the video are coming down a stairs, from first to ground floor.
They are all very calm, and physically unharmed, even their clothes appear to have hardly any dust on them.
This video is likely a hoax, recorded days after the event.

#Propaganda really is that simple these days....
Regardless of whether that specific video is "real" and who it came from.
The normal viewer doesn't even notice that #Zelensky, media representatives & Co. are standing in front of a #greenscreen and not in Kiev, Donetsk etc.

The Bavarian Minister of Justice wants to prosecute the display of the letter "Z".
Germans who live in Zwickau near the Czech Border (car license plate Z) should avoid Bavaria in the near future.
This is claimed to be justified because displaying a "Z" alleged shows approval of Russia's "war of aggression" which allegedly violates international law.
What did German public prosecutors actually do in "Western" wars that violated international law?
Absolutley nothing of course, because ........ "We're the good guys!"
Any crime can be committed in the name of the Western "community of values" without fear of prosecution.
To what extent a "Z" approves a war that violates international law is for the courts to decide.
I suspect German courts will decide in the interests of their sponsor, the state, and accept criminal liability.
The courts will have a lot to do in the near future anyway, you have to take action against everyone who is not in line and that's millions, see compulsory vaccination. BR

Bialska University in Poland wants to educate Ukrainian women. "Preparing for military-defensive tasks"
Bialska branch of the Academy of Physical Education wants to educate Ukrainian women.
The course of study is not random: this is physical education in law enforcement agencies.
"In the current situation, it is extremely important for Ukrainian women to prepare for military-defensive tasks," university teachers say. Students will be able to count on a place in the hostel and meals
The training program includes classes, in particular, from shooting, self-defense, hand-to-hand combat with weapons, survival skills or water rescue.

They are lying about the Chinese plane crash.
They are stating everything about the crash with limits placed on technical specifications for an aircraft that has broken up, and they are refusing to state what would happen with a plane that was perfectly intact put into a full throttle dive via a hack that disabled software limits.
Another video has surfaced that proves the plane never broke up, (like they are trying to sell) and it instead crashed at above mach speeds in a perfectly intact dive.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told reporters on Friday that the European Union will purchase gas on its own and divide it between members, a new development for the 27-member bloc.
The move comes as European leaders seek to ditch Russian imports, and the US is waiting to ship its more costly product to the continent.
“The energy mix and concrete situation in our members is very different but we need to work together to pool our weight,” Von der Leyen said at a press conference after a two-day summit in Brussels, Belgium. “We have an enormous purchasing power. Therefore, I welcome that we will now use our collective bargaining power. Instead of outbidding each other, driving prices up, we will pool our demand.”
Von der Leyen has already promised to reduce Europe’s dependence on Russian gas, but some EU countries remain dependent on a steady supply from Russia. Germany, whose leaders have recently warned that their economy could crash were Russian imports sanctioned, relies on Moscow for more than half of its gas supply.
However, leaders in Berlin have balked at paying for Russian gas in rubles, as Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded they do earlier this week. France too has opposed the gas-for-rubles system, with French President Emmanuel Macron telling reporters on Friday that he believes such a demand is “forbidden” by law.
Should the EU refuse to pay in rubles, as it likely will, its members will have to source their gas elsewhere. The US will likely step in to fill that void. In a joint news conference with US President Joe Biden on Friday, von der Leyen said that Washington would step up its deliveries of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to “at least 50 billion cubic meters” per year, which she said would replace a third of the gas currently provided by Russia.
"We as Europeans want to diversify away from Russia towards suppliers that we trust, that are our friends, that are reliable," she said.
However, American LNG is more expensive than the Russian alternative, and getting it to Europe involves condensing it to fill special tanker ships, before converting it back to gas upon arrival at a purpose-built port facility. There are currently two dozen LNG import terminals in Europe, but none in Germany, which is an important gas distribution location. At present, work has yet to begin on Germany’s flagship LNG terminal, which is set to start receiving gas in 2024.
These issues with pricing and logistics led Germany to ignore American offers of LNG shipments under President Donald Trump, and press ahead with the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russia instead. However, Nord Stream 2’s certification was halted in response to the conflict in Ukraine.
"I know eliminating Russian gas will have costs for Europe,” Biden said during his appearance with von der Leyen, before adding that high energy prices are something that Europe should put up with to oppose Putin.
“It’s not only the right thing to do from a moral standpoint,” he said. “It's gonna put us on a much stronger strategic footing.”

No part of me supports what is happening in Ukraine.
There’s one aspect that I feel people don’t understand:
For Americans WWII led to the Greatest Generation. For us Brits we had spitfires and The Blitz Spirit. Russians had none of that and no fond memories. All they experienced was an invading force who came not for tactical victories and negotiations; but the utter and total elimination of every Russian man woman and child. The complete and utter elimination of their entire culture was at stake. The scars of that conflict run so deep that it resonates profoundly to this day. Every city, town and village has a memorial of that incomprehensibly nightmarish conflict and the pain is still very real. It is ingrained in the Russian psyche.
For decades Russia has first asked, then pleaded, then cautioned, then threatened against NATO expansion because they have bad associations with organised European armies massed at their borders. NATO are touted as a defensive force but Libya and Afghanistan would beg to differ.
Ukraine has never been culturally associated with The West.
People think NATO expansion is just a technicality that Putin is using to enact his own expansionist agenda. But it is more than just a technicality. And it’s not just about Putin. Every Russian I’ve spoken to is angry and frustrated by NATO and Europe. They do not want a unified and incredibly well funded pan European and American army massed on their borders. A non NATO buffer zone isn’t just some legal jargon but a very real comfort.
Russia had a friendly leader in Ukraine. Sure, Yanukovich was as incompetent as he was corrupt, or vice versa. But at least to them he was pro Russia. Seeing their democratically elected leader ousted by a mob angered Russians and pro-Russian Ukrainians.
But this latest attempt to join nato proved to be the last straw: after those decades of requests and threats that amounted to nothing, Russia has finally acted on the threat that has been loudly and unambiguously trumpeted for years.
EDIT: this is not my justification nor am I an apologist. I am merely sharing a perspective that I feel many people simply have not considered

At least four dead civilians on this bus alone. Maybe 20+ altogether. Right in the heart of Donetsk. A residential neighbourhood was hit by a Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missile. I have seen a lot of death here in the Donbass but today has come close to breaking me. Seeing a man screaming over his legless wife’s body; a person who appeared dead suddenly raising an arm, begging for help… the people of #Donbass are in hell.
