As you may know, the Gold <-> MZT swap has been suspended due to the abnormal circulation of MZT, which the MINE WARZ team is doing their best to resolve.
[1] Overview and Progress Update on MZT
- On December 28, 2023 at 11:44 UTC+0, there was an attack which caused the abnormal issuance of MZT, resulting in an emergency maintenance of MINE WARZ and suspension of MZT <-> HVH swap on HAVAHswap.
- Following this, the liquidity pool was withdrawn and approximately 1.1 million HVH was bought back.
- Thereafter, the MINE WARZ team notified the community to refrain from acquiring MZT and is in progress of retrieving MZT in abnormal circulation. (currently 47% recovered)
[2] Remaining Uncertainties and Their Solutions
- Despite ongoing efforts, the full retrieval of abnormal MZT in circulation remains unclear.
- The team is considering the option of issuing a new MZT since a hasty restoration of its liquidity pool poses a serious threat to the stability of MINE WARZ. This is a matter which requires the involvement of all the members of the MINE WARZ ecosystem in the decision-making process.
