Camera not detected
I've been having the issue with error code 0xA00F4244, I've had it before and i remember switching the camera back on in MSI center but there isn't a switch for it anymore??? I have a Cyborg 15 A13V so there is no physical button to turn on the camera, does anyone know how to do this?

Anyone got a 285HX machine?
On paper its next to bugger all better than a 275HX. But I've seen a few reviews placing it much higher than the 275HX.
So I wondered if it undervolted or overclocked better, anyone with any knowledge or experience with it that they could share, I'd appreciate it :)

GPU temperature during gaming on Vector 16 hx ai a2xwhg?
Hey!
I just recently bought the laptop which I mentioned in the noscript. It is the one which has the RTX 5070TI with the Ultra 9 275HX.
I saw a bunch of benchmark videos on youtube before pulling the trigger and during their gaming the GPU reached temps mid 70s while mine always hovers aroind 82°C on average (tested Space Marine 2, AC Shadows, DL The Beast). Is there something I am missing? I know the set thermal limit for the GPU is at 87°C so I have some spare room, but still? The laptop is on balanced mode and have the discrete graphics mode on.
I also have a IETS GT500 cooler stand which was helping a ton with my MSI GP66 which I had before, but for the new vector the benefits seem only marginal. Funny enough when I let Furmark running for 20min or so the GPU is in fact around 75°C.
Could you please give me some real world data? What is your experience or is there anything I could do? Thank you!

Possible to increase stylus sensitivity?
I recently bought an MSI SummitPro 16 AI and am overall pretty happy with it. My main problem is that the digitizer/pen is not sensitive enough. At light pressures it cuts out, so I have to press harder than I would naturally to get it to work reliably. I’m using the MSI Pen 2 that came with it. The pen app is pretty useless.
Is there any way to adjust the pen sensitivity? Via system settings, a 3rd party app or otherwise?

Vector18 gaming brightness low
Hello I bought a MSI vector a18 with a 5070ti. When I launch games and throughout the game max brightness is super low. I researched online about adaptive brightness etc tried everything but still gives me a dark gaming experience. Do you know why and how to fix it? Or that is how it’s made and I should return and change laptop?

Battery Nuked Motherboard?
Hi all,
Has anyone experienced their MSI laptop having such a catastrophic battery failure that it takes the motherboard with it?
I have (had) an MSI gf63 thin laptop. Left it charging overnight and the next morning when I turned it on, the LED backlight for the keyboard flashed, then nothing. Proceeded with trying to diagnose/fix it by: power cycling, discharging capacitors, trying with and without the charger, reseated the SSD and RAM, disconnected the battery and tried with just the charger, reset CMOS, disconnected
CMOS battery and finally bought a new charger and fully charged the battery in case it was the charger.
After all of this, I concluded there was something wrong with power delivery and left it with a repair technician who diagnosed it as failed power rail mosfets. The tech installed new mosfets and said it only turned on when the battery wasn't connected and would diagnose the battery the next day. The next day he contacted me and said when he reconnected the battery for testing, it blew the mosfets he installed.
The laptop had a 24 month warranty and I've had it for 28 months before this happened. I've never had or heard of a laptop failing this way, especially just outside of warranty. Has anyone else?

MSI Crosshair 18 HX AI 18 vs MSI Vector A16 HX 16"
Hey everyone,
Im thinking about upgrading my MSI Cyborg 15 A13V to a newer laptop. This is mostly due to the battery life of my laptop being roughly an hour. Its at 64% battery health right now. I am torn between the Crosshair and the Vector. The only noticeable difference is that the GPU is a 5070TI (vector) vs a 5070 (crosshair) and the Crosshair has Intel Ultra9HX (crosshair) vs a AMD Ryzen 7 8840HX (Vector). The only other meaningful difference is that the vector is 16in compared to the 18in Crosshair. I want a longer battery life because this will be my main college laptop. (I detest macbooks). I will still be using my Cyborg as a second desktop at my dorm.
The price for Crosshair is 1399.99 After 300 dollars off while the Vector is 1599.99 without any discount. (this is from Costco btw).
My dad does not like Lenovo and has bad experiences with HP, ASUS, and Acer. He liked my MSI and wants to stick to MSI. (Razer too out of budget and not sold at Costco, atleast laptops).

GS66 12UGS dead Nvidia card
Hi all two days ago my 3 year GS66 12UGS laptop the Nvidia card died during a game diablo 2 resurrected).
It started by having a ghost shadow in the top 1/3 of the game. I did a alt tab and everything was seems to be ok but I then remembered to make a graphic card reset ( Win + Ctrl + shift+ b) that then break it completely.
After some reboots I see the screen for 1 sec after close and open the laptop screen.
Then I managed to change the settings on the dragon center only use the discrete graphic card.. and after a reboot I never was able to see the screen again.
I used a external monitor and had no Image.
I used the windows narrator option to help me navigate and login back to windows.
Unfortunately I never enable the windows remote desktop so I can use my secondary laptop to remote connect and disabled the Nvidia card and only use the integrated Intel one.
I trying to go to settings and disabled completely the Nvidia card but because I have no screen it's impossible for me.
I would like a kind soul to make a video of the same laptop bios navigation via keyboard and show what keys were press so I can disabled my Nvidia and see if the integrated one is working.
And then I can give my laptop to a family person that doesn't need to Nvidia card.
I assuming there is nothing wrong with the monitor because I used a external monitor and when the problem arise it was already open. Furthermore after long time without power when I started the laptop I see the logo that then goes black.
If someone has a different idea I open to try it .
3 months ago I replaced the thermal paste in the GPU and CPU but didn't touch the other ones and left the pink one the temperatures decreased by 10 degree so everything seemed ok
Previously I had a GS65 and after cleaning the fans my monitor dead I assumed at the time the cable was damaged because to clean the fans I needed to remove the complete motherboard.
So after 2 MSI GS damaged. I will move away from that brand.

The laptop now just continually turns on and off...

Does anyone have a cutout template for the MSI Modern 15 F13MG (i3-1315U)
Body: Hey everyone! I'm trying to create a custom skin for my MSI Modern 15 F13MG (the i3-1315U variant), and I was wondering if anyone here has or knows of a top-down cutout template with exact dimensions. I'm hoping to avoid doing all the measuring by hand if possible. Also, if anyone has a better approach than clicking photos and extracting measurements or manually measuring everything, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance!

“MSI Stealth A16 AI+ (Ryzen AI 9 365/ RTX 4070) — Anyone Have Real-World Reviews?”
I’m considering the MSI Stealth A16 AI+ because it checks all my boxes: a QHD 240Hz display, Ryzen AI 9, and a thin design with a solid 4070 GPU. Most reviews I’ve found cover the Intel 185H version, which isn’t as good, and some complain about the right-side charging port but since I mainly play with a controller, that’s not a big issue for me.

Blue Screen 8 hours after getting a Crosshair 16 HX
Hi everyone, i just received my new gaming laptop, a Crosshair 16 HX AI D2XWGKG and after updating all the drivers, windows, etc i i was dowloading vanguard (the riot anticheat software). The screen turned off cause i was doing other things i came back, typed on spacebar, then the sound stuttered + blue screen+ reboot.
I found out that it might be my gpu, i found the error code 10e.
So what should i do next, should i do a new clean install, or send back the laptop directly ?
My previous PC was a lenovo legion 5 and i didn't had a blue screen for 3 years (but the motherboard died in the end so....), that's why i'm a bit scared
