Is this normal
My msi slim laptop discharged battery like normal, but when I turned it on on Monday, its battery was at 99% and it mainly discharges a lot from more intense games. Are those games damaging the laptop also? (Mecha break mainly)

MSI GP66 Vector dead, any ideas?
I was playing casually and suddenly the laptop shutdown, like in an instant. No crashing no stuttering, completely dead. And now it’s been like 2 hours to no avail.
I get the laptop cleaned and repasted by professionals every 8 months so it’s less likely a temperature problem
Not a single movement/lights are to be seen
The charging light indicator doesn’t even work anymore, completely turned off (even though I can feel electricity surging through the laptop when it’s plugged in)
I tried the following:
EC reset
Battery reset (manual removal of it)
Needle discharge reset
Nothing worked…
Can anyone suggest me something useful? Or any advice if anyone has already been through such scenario

Are brief spikes from 60 °C to 90 °C in an MSI laptop’s CPU package temperature normal during light usage?
I see in HWiNFO that my laptop's CPU package temperature often spikes from 60 °C to 90 °C. Here's the CPU package temperature graph: https://ia803401.us.archive.org/19/items/images-for-questions/m9F5YtDs.png
The y-axis, which the screenshot inconveniently cropped out, ranges from 50 °C to 90 °C. The x-axis on all graphs below is 10 minutes.
Is that normal for a laptop's CPU package temperature to spike that frequently and briefly?
----
I was doing some very mild computer use, as evidenced by the CPU utilization chart: https://ia803401.us.archive.org/19/items/images-for-questions/ED3yiQKZ.png
I keep the CPU fan and the first GPU fan at high RPM:
- https://ia803401.us.archive.org/19/items/images-for-questions/HLkNIIOy.png
My laptop is a MSI GS76 Stealth 11UH (mirror).
My primary concern is that this results in thermal throttling, which consequently diminishes CPU performance. However, perhaps the impact on overall system performance is too negligible to care?

Has anyone attempted to upgrade a Raider A18 HX with Crucial 96GB (CL46) Ram kit?
I was attempting to upgrade my Raider A18 HX with the Crucial 96GB CL46 ram kit but was told that the Crucial ram may be incompatible or unsupported which didn't fully make sense.
So I was wondering if anyone has any further information to offer on the matter.

GL75 screen no longer turns on
A couple days ago the screen for my GL75 stopped working. I was using it like normal and suddenly it was black, even though the laptop was still on. I plugged it into an external monitor to see if the entire laptop had died but it's still working fine. Just a display issue. How can I find out what happened and how to fix it?

Is the overheating normal in this model or is it thermal throttling
I've owned this GF63 Thin B12UCX for 1 year now
i5 12450h , RTX 2050 (4gbvram) , 16GB DDR4 Ram , 144hz screen
When i first bought it, it was able to run a lot of games without much of a lag , in gta V i was getting 60-100 fps constantly in high settings , but now i notice stuttering while playing gta V in high settings , same for rdr2 not hard stutters but for a microsecond a small but noticable fps drop
Also when i forget to turn the fans on to max when playing games , after like 5 mins of playing it , the fans toggle to max , the laptop lags out and in 10 seconds the screen turns off and the whole laptop shuts down which i think is thermal throttling
The fans aren't as loud anymore in max (which i thin is due to dust buildup)
I have only used this laptop on a hard table except for a few times otherwise
Also when idle the temps are 50-60 and when doing light tasks like music , watching youtube and instagram it reaches around 70-75
when gaming it sits around 90-95
What should i do

Help with my GS65 STEALTH 8SE
Recently I had issues with my laptop that the RTX gpu disconnects suddenly.so i Decided to Reset my laptop, meaning I had to download dragon center again, but unfortunately it didn't allow to control anything, I asked chatgpt which suggested I have to uninstall the msi SDK and everything and download it again from the msi website, so I uninstalled the SDK , when I checked the website, it appeared that MSI removed the SDK from the the website.
Now what can I Do?!
I just want to increase the Fan speed whenever I game. That's it.

Need Help with My Msi GE76 12UGS Raider
So i just updated my windows 11 to latest one, it restarted and during boot for some reason it was updating the firmware or that's what it looked like everything was going smoothly. After the final restart after showing Msi logo it goes to bitlocker recovery for some reason, in the meantime i was going to Microsoft website to get that, it just turned off itself. Main problem with my laptop is the power button doesn't work, and previously I managed to get it turn on without that (forgot how i did that) and set that whenever i plugin adapter it turn on. But i forgot how to that that, anyone able to help me will be appreciated.

Msi 16J9 GV62... Did I screw myself?
Hi there so I purchased new ram and larger sad about a month or two ago to upgrade my laptop but didn't realize that it won't take windows 11...since there is no way to upgrade the processor for that.
Is there anything I can do? Hell I spent damn near the same on the ram and ssd but couldn't test/install cause my old roomie stole my power cable lol.
My main use was producing music, downloading music, and some minor gaming.

MSI Vector 16 HX A14V - i7-14650HX and RTX 4080
Hello, MSI Vector 16 owners (i7-14650HX + RTX 4080).
Could someone run an OCCT benchmark for comparison?
My unit was recently serviced and the thermal paste was replaced under warranty, but the temps still look suspicious.
I tested it in Extreme Performance and Balanced modes (the results are the same).
The issue has been present since the day of purchase, and during this time I tried to fix it with undervolting - but it doesn’t help.
The laptop still overloads and reboots during gaming, and the fan constantly runs in Turbo mode like a vacuum cleaner.
I’m considering sending it back again, but I need more reference data from other Vector 16 users before doing that.
Official Intel position:
An Intel representative confirms that sustained temperatures of 95-102°C on the i7-14650HX are not normal and indicate a cooling system issue
(source: Intel Community — i7-14650HX overheating).

Should i buy this? MSI Cyborg 15 B2RWFKG-076IT
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a new laptop. I'd mainly use it for university(engineering) and for some gaming. The specs I've seen are:
Intel 240H CPU
NVIDIA 5060 GPU (55W)
16GB DDR5 RAM
1TB NVMe SSD Storage
The offer I saw is €999. Should I buy it? Do you recommend it?

Random sound stutter on new MSI Raider 18 5080 laptop
I really need some help. I purchased the device a few days ago, but I’ve been experiencing several sound issues. When the problem occurs, the system freezes for a split second. It happens randomly, completely randomly, so it’s hard to capture, but it usually occurs when there’s any audio playing in a video game.
I found this video online, and it describes exactly what I’m experiencing: https://youtu.be/VKdAkwiIbxo
I have tried reinstalling windows using MSI recovery, updated all drivers and newest BIOS, it still happens. Is it a defect and I should RMA?
Latencymon also reports crazy latency, although I’m not sure if it related at all.

Katana 17 B13VFK cpu stuck at ≈ 1.8ghz
The CPU is a 13th gen i7-13620H, with a base clock of 2.40ghz and turbo at 4.9ghz but no matter what I do I cannot get it to go past about 1.8ghz. I'm using HWiNFO64 to check the P cores clock and the and it never even goes above 2ghz on any of the cores. So thats not even the base clock speed? I've tried disabling Intel tuning- my PL1 and PL2 dynamic show 85w and 140w but the CPU package power only shows about 13w at most. The cpu is at 60c normally and 67-72c under heavy load. I've tried everything related to MSI extreme performance too.
This is really frustrating, I just want to use my CPU that I paid for, not just 1/4 of it's power. The fans are super powerful and I also have a cooling pad for my laptop as well so I'm not really concerned that it would be overheating or thermal throttling. But I am hesitant to change anything in the BIOS without fully knowing what I'm doing. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
