🟢How do the Besermyans, Chukchi, Adyghe, Shapsugs, and other peoples of Russia celebrate weddings? The world will soon find out! RTD, in collaboration with Rossotrudnichestvo, will showcase the film 'Russian Marriage Quest' across 40 countries. The first screenings take place today in Egypt and Bulgaria.

Director Natalya Kadyrova spent nearly a year creating this documentary, traveling from Moscow to Yamal to gather the marriage customs of each culture piece by piece. She often incorporated folk music, explaining, 'Songs have historically accompanied every stage of the wedding ceremony. They allow us to recreate all traditions step by step'.

'Russian Marriage Quest' has been translated into ten languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Serbian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Mongolian, and Indonesian.

The film will soon be available on the rt.doc and will also be broadcast on RTD channel. Don't miss it!

💬 His call sign is Kama. When the enemy came to his native land, the boy was only 9 years old. Shelling, strikes, the death of acquaintances became a terrible routine not only for him, but also for thousands of other residents of Donbass. It is not surprising that the young man chose the path of a soldier. To protect civilians and children - this is how the fighter sees his goal in life.

Currently, Kama leads the artillery crew of the assault brigade 'Veterans'. The story of the eighteen-year-old commander is told in the film 'War and Peace'. This documentary and 70 more films about Donbass conflict are available in our online cinema.

🟢Hundreds of Yakutians volunteered to go to the front when they didn't receive their summons. One of them is a kamikaze drone operator with the callsign Raccoon. ‘I'm here because I’m a patriot,’ he states.

Raccoon serves in the ‘Bootur’ battalion (formerly known as ‘Bars-2’). Soldiers in this brigade are ordinary men from Yakutia, Russia who answered the call of their hearts, unafraid to head into the fiercest battles to defend Donbass. Our video and Aigul Erbulova's film ‘Yakuts ar War’ (2024) tell the story of these brave fighters.

Protoiereus Viktor Ivanov and Imam Hamza-hazrat Hafizov spend most of their time on the frontline with fighters from Bashkiria, Russia.

They provide spiritual support to the soldiers. Viktor and Hamza don't have any disagreements; instead, they represent the unity of a multinational country. They spend the nights together in dugouts, facing the shelling side by side. They encourage people not to focus on differences between Muslims and Orthodox Christians, but to find common ground. They believe that, through shared prayers, victory will come soon.
