I'm told Trump administration officials plan to focus on economic growth, home ownership and peace through strength — in a deliberate contrast to past globalist fare more focused on DEI, climate and even eating bugs.
Bessent, who's leading the U.S. delegation on Trump's behalf, plans daily press conferences ahead of Trump's arrival on Wednesday.
Bessent's themes will be "The Smart Money is on America" and "America First Trade is Transforming the World."
Bessent will include direct criticism of the global elite, and draw a sharp contrast between U.S. exceptionalism and European economic stagnation, an administration source tells Axios.
He wasted no time early Monday, telling reporters it would be "very unwise" if Europe attempted to retaliate over a push to take control of Greenland.
Bessent — Trump's point person on economic, financial and monetary issues — plans to exude confidence about the sustained global dominance of the American economy.
"At America's 250th anniversary, President Trump has ushered in an era of Parallel Prosperity—a decade of economic expansion in which Main Street and Wall Street will grow together," Bessent says in prepared remarks seen by Axios.

Last night, Tina Peters was assaulted at approximately 9PM MT in La Vista Correctional Facility.
Tina was inside a maintenance closet to fill up a water unit when an inmate approached her in the closet and began striking her in anger.
Tina raised her hands and pushed the inmate away in defense of herself. Per Tina, the camera showed her pushing the inmate away from her out of the closet. She was subsequently handcuffed, shackled, and brought to solitary confinement.
Tina was told she is being charged with Felony Assault for defending herself against an unprovoked attack.
She will be locked down completely for 24-72 hours and held in IDO (the hole) for an unknown period of time.
As far as Tina is aware, the inmate who assaulted her has not been charged, slept in their cell last night, and will face no consequences. This incident is clearly a targeted attack against Peters. In all likelihood, it is being used as an opportunity to isolate and harass Tina Peters.
Tina has been warning officials that something like this would happen eventually. She was advised to apply for the Incentive Pod. Tina has applied repeatedly and been denied despite nothing disqualifying her.
Something is not right at LVCF.
Tina has minor injuries but is not seriously injured as of this morning.
Can you imagine 70 year old Tina Peters being charged ANOTHER felony charge for defending herself?

MPD told @nicksortor and Cam Higby to LEAVE THE AREA after they were attacked, followed, threatened, robbed, and Nick was nearly killed.
They indicated that there was a low probability the camera would be recovered despite providing a full plate.
Owen Shroyer: Unfortunately, after covering these protests for a decade, this is the case. Police in most cases won't have your back.
Of the hundreds of crimes committed against me, on camera with all evidence for police, only one charge ever stuck. Ironically enough, it was in DC.
