When things happen that cause masses of people to use social media hashtags, like YouTube crashing, we should be there to capitalize.
My X account doesn't even have 100 followers, but since millions of people are all converging on the same hashtag right now, I can get far more eyes on a post than normal (150 to 500 views in under 2 minutes, by morning these posts might have thousands.)
It's easy, and only requires us to be ready when eye-catching things like this happen and get the info out.
It doesn't seem like much, but it costs next to nothing and we can never spread enough awareness.
