This is a poem Elvis gave to his daughter on her 4th birthday-
Birthdays are always special
as your fourth one comes to you
and I wondered what I'd give you
Just anything wouldn't do.
I thought of childish treasures
to hang upon your wall

Today’s Bible verse! It speaks to me about true prayer with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! He wants us to come to Him in prayer for EVERYTHING, open & honest, holding nothing back! Part of today’s devotional spoke to me, as I sometimes feel I get lost in my own prayers. “When my mind wandered in prayer, I never stopped to consider that God was with me in this, inviting me to bring this to Him. When I fall asleep, I would apologize for not being able to stay awake, but I never talked to God about my fatigue.” This made me think about my mind wandering during prayer, it’s because God knows I need to speak with him about it, and He is helping me to find the way to speak with Him about it! I pray this helps you too, when you’re not feeling “great” about your own personal prayers & relationship with our Father; remember that He is where we are, so if you find yourself thinking of something else mid-prayer with Him, let it become a part of your prayer that He will hear & begin to help you with! 🙌🏽❤️‍🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨
