Just got a note from Rosana. Her right foot has swelled up all of a sudden to a point that it very painful for her to walk. She has never had this before. It is on the same leg that she had blood clots years ago. Rosana has asked if we could pray for her as Valiant needs her and so do her beloved animals at their homestead. Thank you so much.

An important reminder for all of us; “For our fight is not against flesh and blood but against unseen forces in heavenly places”. We cannot fight that kind of battle with fleshly weapons but we need spiritual ones as laid out in Ephesians. We need to put on the full armor of God, so we can stand firm against attacks of the enemy. We also need to take our thoughts captive unto Christ which includes thinking on those things that are pure, holy and of good repute. While it may be true (as stated in 1 Corinthians 10:23) that all things are permissible and we are free to do as we please, it also says that not all things are helpful, expedient, profitable and wholesome. The next verse states to let no one seek his own good , but rather let him seek the good of his neighbor. I believe that only happens as we first submit to God and ask Him to guide what we say and do. Our speech should be that which is good for the building up of others according to the need and occasion and is a blessing to all. Eph 4:29. We need to ask ourselves if what we are about to say will bless or curse others. Sometimes that means it’s best to say nothing than to start a whole forest aflame with our tongue.
Or as I was taught…if you can’t say something nice then don’t say it at all.

People are not wrong to explore from a pragmatic perspective or with doubt or from frustration. Similarly, others are not wrong to feel frustrated if they themselves are positive and believe others threaten that point of view.
So, why the bickering? Major Freddie has declared his forward looking focus and has provided a foundation for why. But our daily life is lived in the now, and therefore experienced with all the current negativity, increased frustration, feelings of futility, panic, constant questioning, exposure to fearmongoring, and actual real-life personal concerns and consequences. It's all valid. Major Freddie always seeks to help us see beyond the current. I find we all have a unique point of view. What I dismiss as unimportant may be extremely important to someone else. I therefore stay silent, see if there's anything to be learned, and allow Freddie to navigate. He and the admins provide a service that we choose to use. Major Freddie is clear and consistent about his perspective and his goals to bring as many of us over - as calmly and as comfortably as possible - to the other side of this war. I respect that. We all should. I therefore divert all due control to him (or his admins) to manage the conversation as they see fit. We can accept that or leave. But I suggest we as members respect the other members by refraining from assuming responsibilities that are not ours. Tolerance is needed when faced with perspectives we don't have. Patience is needed for those less informed. Empathy is needed for what we don't exerience. Guidance is needed if someone is lost. Hope is needed if someone is despairing. Focus is needed if someone gets disoriented. And insight is needed before we make assumptions. All other duty falls to Freddie and the admins.
Instead of getting frustrated with other members, I suggest that we instead learn as much as possible when another's life experience or perspective is different than ours. We should take note of what makes us uneasy and ask ourselves why. We should challenge ourselves when we get uncomfortable or uneasy with someone who is not exactly where we are or where we believe they should be. We can choose to be reminded of how to empathy, or we can choose to be triggered. We can choose to accept that others have their own life experiences, circumstances and current realities that we can simply never quite know, or we can choose to be frustrated.
Freddie (and his admins) run the channel as they see fit. Members make their own decisions whether to like it or not. I choose to learn from the channel, from all those who contribute, and from all those who see things quite differently me, who believe and think differently, who process things differently, who experience the situations differenly than I do. It will ALL help me grow and learn, and will assist me greatly when I'm needed outside of Telegram and in my real world. God bless you, and love you all.
