The real world just sucks somedays and we have to keep the devil out. I’ve lost so much but I feel Jesus in my heart daily. God was in Major Freddie’s chat last night. I could feel him. Please remember we do not know whats going on in each other’s world at any given moment - This was posted by my daughter this morning and it’s the first time she has said anything to so many people since that horrible day and I’m very proud of her.
My Jess- This month has always been special to me… i love October and now it also is since it’s Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness month… i wrote this the day I lost my baby and decided to not share it but now I feel comfortable sharing. This is a long post, I know, so it will not hurt my feelings if it goes unread… this is something I need to get out for my own healing. I can’t tell you how much I wanted you my little bundle of Joy, but I think your Mimi in heaven needed you more, she always wanted a grand baby of her own to hug, kiss, and love and now she has that. I’m so completely and utterly thankful I got to see you and hear your perfect 120 heartbeat at least once… I will cherish that forever and always. I’m very ignorant because I never thought this is something I would have to endure in my life but here I am, I had a miscarriage on 2/10/2022, and I will forever remember that date and that your due date is 10/4/2022. Miscarriages are hard, you carry them with you forever, always a thought in your mind of what could have been.

Just keep in mind, with an election year coming up… pro choice or pro life I do not care, I love you all the same… but the pro choice, a baby at 7 weeks is not just a clump of cells. The baby is truly alive and thriving and can pass away instantly. So please remember those women who lost a baby early didn’t lose a “clump of cells”, they lost a baby… they lost someone they loved dearly. Also, I do not care how many children someone has, when you miscarry and lose a child, that’s a completely differently child you lost! I wouldn’t dare say to someone that lost a parent, well at least you still have your other parent… so don’t say “at least you still have your other child/children.
I’m not sure why I lost my baby, but the doctors believed it to be due to Covid. I got Covid the first week of my pregnancy. I’m doing so well and so is the family, but Benji will still ask about having a baby, because he was so tickled about the new baby!

I decided to name the baby Joy, because the baby brought so much joy in our lives in such a short amount of time and I am sure my nanny would have loved that name… We love you forever and always my sweet Joy and I’m thankful you have so many in heaven above that will take care of you the way that Coty and I would have.

I’m not sure when or if we will try again, but it does not hurt when someone asks, I just want to make that clear because I have been asked several times and I don’t ever want someone to feel bad about that…
