The backwards flag (formally and officially known as the Reverse Flag), dates back to the Army’s early history when both cavalry and infantry units would charge ahead as the Stars and Stripes streamed backwards.
When assaulting forward, the star field is always to the front as the red and white stripes flow to the back in the breeze.
Today, the reverse flag is worn on the right sleeve of military uniforms and symbolizes the courage and respect of the soldiers who serve.

Thank you so much for your patience today. I wanted to wait for official word from Rosana before putting anything out.
From Rosana:
• Valiant's vitals were so much better today compared to last night’s.
• The nurses gave him an incorrect pain medication yesterday which led to a very excruciating and sleepless night for Valiant.
• He is currently on a pain pump with the correct pain medication and is feeling a bit better today.
• His countenance has also improved from yesterday.
The best part was that Valiant texted his own update tonight. I was pleasantly surprised and simply delighted to hear from him directly:
• Valiant asked that we continue to pray that he will recover fully with no complications.
Thank you so much for continuing to pray for Valiant and Rosana. They are so appreciative of all of you and how you have labored in prayer for them over these past few days. Thank you so much and God bless you!
