While some long-term “friends” have denied me and some have even attacked me in the past couple of years, I am blessed that God always fills the void when He separates the wheat from the chaff.

While I pray for restoration of past relationships, I know that the LORD has changed me and I am a different version of myself. Same man with a different view of life and a new purpose. Some will accept me. Others will reject me.

I praise God for my many blessings. I remember fondly those friends who once were loyal and I give thanks for the wonderful new friends who bring joy to my life. I love them all. Past and present.

Am I perfect in my love and treatment of others? No. I just do the best I can to love them, forgive them, and ask for their forgiveness. Even my enemies.

I believe that is what God expects from ALL of us. The beauty of the perfect love of our Perfect Father is that He knows us and understands us. And He forgives our shortcomings and sins. He is always teaching us to be better. God is love and instructs us to love one another as He loves us.

We serve an awesome God. That should bring peace of mind to His children in the extraordinary times in which we live. Trust God. He will never let you down.
