Sheep and Goats

What's the difference between sheep and goats?

Did you know that both sheep and goats were acceptable sacrifices for Passover? (Exodus 12:5)
And that goats were to be offered for sin offerings? (Lev 4:23, 28, Lev:16)

Sometimes it can be hard to tell the difference between a sheep and a goat, but there are some significant differences.

The tails of sheep hang down, whereas the tails of goats tend to stick up proud.

Sheep tend to graze the grass, whereas goats eat almost anything, often getting up on their hind legs to do so.

Goats are naturally more independent and prone to straying than sheep.

Taking this to a spiritual level, we can see that sheep and goats both belong to The Shepherd, but the sheep have learned to submit to Him and follow Him, whereas goats tend to want to do things their own way.

I never thought I'd say this…
