UPDATE: According to social media a Union Pacific train has had a derailment in the Mojave Desert between Basin and Kelso, California.
"Kelso(Update): ME53 on scene with Union Pacific reps. Numerous derailed cars carrying IRON ORE. No active fire; no injuries. County HazMat continuing. No current threat to the area."
