If you don't believe that God can get us out of this mess, then you must have skipped all the stories, testimonies and happenings where He did something so miraculous and impossible that the people knew that only He could truly do it. 
It looks like our future is uncertain, to say the least,  but so what?
Our perception does not determine what God's ability is. 
Maybe He wants us to realize how much we need Him to deliver us.  
Did you consider that there is nothing to be afraid of when you cast your cares on Him?
We might just be on the verge of another spectacular moment that our children's children will talk about. 
That moment when the impossible became a reality.
