Happy Patriots Day! (Not to be confused with Patriots Day that is held on September 11th each year in remembrance to all those who were injured or killed from the terrorist attack at multiple locations in the United States on September 11, 2001.)

April’s Patriots' Day is a state holiday in Massachusetts commemorating the first battle of the American Revolution on April 19, 1775. Although Patriots' Day occurs annually on the third Monday of April, Minute Man National Historical Park host special programs and events throughout the month. How do I know this? Because I am a Bostonian (currently living in Oklahoma but Bostonian thru n thru). Boston’s rich history also includes its 26 mile marathon from Hopkinton to Boston.

Patriots Day is a holiday recognized only in the states of Massachusetts and Maine, observed on April 19, to commemorate the battles of Lexington, Concord, and Menotomy which began the American Revolution. The date of April 19th was chosen as it is the actual date of the battles in 1775, and up until 1968 the race was always held on that date, unless it fell on a Sunday. Since 1969, however, the date of Patriots Day has been fixed as the third Monday in April, and likewise the Boston Marathon followed suit, giving us the double tradition of Boston Marathon and Patriots Day always on a Monday. The only exception to this was during the coronavirus pandemic when the marathon was postponed, and eventually ran as a virtual experience in September. The following year saw the race return in person, but being held in October 2021. Now back on track, the Boston Marathon returns to its traditional home of Patriots Day. The 127th Boston Marathon will take place today, April 17, 2023, featuring nearly 30,000 athletes from more than 100 countries. Hmmm the 17th. Interesting date, don’t you think?

Ten years ago, On April 15, 2013, the city of Boston changed forever. That was the Marathon Monday when two brothers detonated pressure cooker bombs full of shrapnel by the finish line on Boylston Street, killing three and injuring hundreds. Let’s pray that today’s festivities are safe and enjoyable for all participants and spectators. 🙏🙏🙏

Let’s stay alert, prepared and united. Let no one divide us. Let no one ever have that type of control over us ever again. Yes, we are Patriots! We are F.R.O.G.s and we are Fully Reliant on God. We are God’s chosen warriors to not only witness this demolition of evil but we got to participate. We won already when we stood together and said “ENOUGH”. We will revel in our freedom very soon. Hang tough, frogs! Hang tough! We are almost there. Stop letting projected dates get you down. This will be completed on God’s time and not man’s. It’s time to have faith. If you can’t, then step back for a bit until you feel it or see for yourself all that is happening. It’s time to “Frog up”. Put on your Armor of God because we are in for a bumpy ride to the finish line. We have this! We always did. God chose His warriors perfectly. WWG1WGA. Love and Light to all.

The defendants, including 40 MPS officers and two officials in the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), allegedly perpetrated transnational repression schemes targeting U.S. residents whose political views and actions are disfavored by the PRC government, such as advocating for democracy in the PRC.

In the two schemes, the defendants created and used fake social media accounts to harass and intimidate PRC dissidents residing abroad and sought to suppress the dissidents’ free speech on the platform of a U.S. telecommunications company (Company-1). The defendants charged in these schemes are believed to reside in the PRC or elsewhere in Asia and remain at large.”
