Last night, my son’s college lacrosse team played in the championship tournament and they ended up winning.
It wasn’t the win that took my heart, but it was this prayer that happened after the game was over.
The fact that both of these teams could come together after one team won and pray really made me smile!

🇫🇷🇷🇺🇬🇧🇺🇸 Today 7th May marks the day Nazi Germany Capitulated after German General Alfred Jodl signs the "unconditional surrender" terms at Reims, France, ending Germany's participation in WW2. The document took effect the next day.
This very instrument of surrender was signed on May 7, 1945, at Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower's headquarters in Reims by Gen. Alfred Jodl, Chief of Staff of the German Army at 2:41 a.m European Time.
All 4 representatives of the Allies France, Russia, UK & US were present for the signing of the Document.
Although western Europe celebrated Victory Day on the 8th of May. Stalin held his own signing ceremony on the 8th therefore 9th May is celebrated as Victory Day in Eastern Europe.
