One of my friends was talking about how she feels that she is the black sheep of the family and always has been. She can’t keep her mouth shut and she gets angry at things. I said to her you’re not the black sheep you’re an indigo child/adult.

I’m not even sure if she’s heard this phrase before. So I said have a search and read a few sources and see if it resonates. I quickly grabbed a few random links for her and this was one I saw.

I wanted to share because this is actually written in the guardian from 2006 and noscriptd “The Chosen Ones” so this is for all of you in here to read too who feel alone and like you’re trying to wake people up and even maybe feel like the black sheep of the family like my friend referred to herself 🥰

Just as you have been conditioned and brainwashed and indoctrinated in lies and negativity, you know how to correct the process. To reprogram yourself and correct your frequency takes dedication, action, persistence, vigilance.

It will require a severe change in your life and for many, a complete extraction and rebuild. What are you willing to sacrifice? What are you willing to loose in order to become human again?

So, It is time. Will you rise and stand with the Unashamed Unchained as a freed or awakened member of the human race? What will you choose?

I choose Love. No occasion justifies hatred or violence. No justice warrants bitterness or pride. Today I will love not just my friends, which is easy, but my enemies in equal portion.

I choose Joy. I will refuse the temptations of the cynical, the tool of the lazy mind. I will refuse to see people as anything less than equals of the human race as they are my brothers and my sisters. I will refuse to see any problem as anything less than an opportunity to spread Love. I will rejoice when I am persecuted, for it is then I know my enemy considers me a threat.
I choose Peace. I will live forgiven. I will forgive so I may live.

I choose Patience. I will overlook the inconveniences of this world, as I am not a part of this corruption. Instead of cursing the one who takes my place I will invite him to do so. Rather than complain about my life’s path, I will rejoice in the struggles which allow me to go beyond my conceived limits and be thankful for the still and silent moments. Instead of clenching my fists at changes or new assignments, I will face them with joy and courage.

I choose Kindness. I will be kind to the poor, for they feel alone. I will be kind to the rich, for they are afraid. I will be kind to the unkind, for such is how Love has treated me.

I choose Goodness. I will go without so others can have. I will be overlooked before I will boast. My ego is stripped away for the negativity of pride has no place in me. I will confess before I accuse.
I choose Faithfulness. I will keep my promises. My debtors will not regret their trust. My associates will not question my word. My lover will not doubt my love. My friends will never fear that I may loose my way.

I choose Gentleness. Nothing is won by force. If I raise my voice, may it only be in laughter. If I clench my fist, may it only be in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself.

I choose Self control. I am a spiritual being. After this vessel is dead my spirit will soar. I refuse to let what will rot rule the eternal. It is I, not my emotions, that controls my behavior and my thoughts. I will be intimidated by no one, for my enemy can not harm my soul. I will be drunk only by joy; impassioned only by my faith; influenced only by Love; taught only by Truth.

Love, which is the root of Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control, to these I commit my day.
No love is greater than that of a man who sacrifices himself for others. Love knows no fear. Perfect love drives out fear. Fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love. What is worthy of living for, is worth dying for.
