Gods Blessings in the Snow

It was morning, I’m still waking up with my coffee when something caught my eye as I looked out the sliding glass doors to my back yard. It was snowing, and not just any snow, my favorite snow, no wind blowing, just big fluffy flakes that gently fall like white cotton candy. Time stands still…and I feel excited and even giggle over thoughts of making snowballs to throw with my family and friends, building a big snowman, or making snow angels. It’s always been my favorite kind of snow, timeless and beautiful, a gift from God.
I felt blessed by God to feel like a child again, to take those moments in and enjoy, forgetting all the cares of this world as I try to catch some snowflakes on my tongue, feeling the snowflakes touch my face.
Even if only for a few moments of time it brings me great joy. I can’t help but smile throughout my day for this gift God blesses us with.

As of now, it remains unclear if anyone on board the flight was injured, as this story is still developing.
