On December 5th, 2018, a congressional hearing was scheduled to hear testimony regarding the investigation of the Clinton Foundation. Bush 41's state funeral preempted the hearing that day, so it was held a week later on the 12th.
Two men named Doyle and Moynihan were the star witnesses. They had done a private investigation of the Clinton Foundation's finances. They're private investigators who look into people and corporations accused of tax fraud. They work for the IRS and receive a bounty if their work leads to the discovery that someone cheated on their taxes.
Doyle and Moynihan found evidence that the Clinton Foundation had not paid taxes owed on roughly $2.5 billion. (Source🔗)

Backstory:
On page 294 of the DOJ IG report on FISA abuse, then-FBI Executive Assistant Director Randall Coleman's notes can be
found related to an October 4th meeting he had with James Comey about the contents of Anthony Weiner's laptop.
The laptop had been received by NYPD. They contacted the New York FBI field office to get a warrant to examine it.
Coleman's notes describe some of the laptop's contents, including roughly 650,000 emails of Hillary Clinton's and evidence of "crime against children" connected to the Clinton Foundation.
The FBI buried the evidence of crimes against children.
Earlier that year, the bureau had done an investigation of Hillary's emails. In July, 2016, Comey closed the case but the new emails caused a problem. Comey would issue a statement a few weeks later claiming they had gone through the new emails and found nothing criminal.
The fact that the FBI re-opened the email investigation may have cost Hillary the 2016 election.
