Every born again believer in Jesus has a God destiny, a destiny that is unattainable with natural effort.

In today's text we see one of many examples of this Biblical truth.

God gave Joseph two outstanding dreams. When Joseph revealed them to his family they ridiculed him.

The Lord showed through the dreams that Joseph would rule over his brothers and even over his father.

This could not happen without divine intervention, and the road to the fulfillment was very difficult for Joseph.

Joseph had to be prepared by the Lord for his God destiny, which was to save the people of God and the Egyptians.

A key factor is, when are we ready? The answer, when the Lord says so and only when He says so.

I have mentioned a few times in the past that we are to be like Mary and not Martha.

Mary sat patiently at Jesus' feet and listened to Him, this is one way to get ready.

Another way is to learn the "sound of His voice" when He speaks to us then obey His voice.

Jesus is faithful to complete what He starts, let Him finish what He started in you and work with Him.

One day soon the "cup bearer" will remember your name and tell it to the King.

Know that the Lord is working in you, He is getting you ready for your destiny in Him!
