Today’s Bible verse! Jesus wants us to live as He did on this earth, serving & helping others, sacrificing ourselves to serve others & share His love. In today’s world, most people ask, “what’s in it for me?!”, when doing a favor for a friend; rather than offering to help without expectation of payment or repayment with a favor. If we all strive to live & love in this way, I know others will see & follow too, and eventually no one will be asking what’s in it for them anymore. They will begin to see that what’s in it is the blessing of being there to serve others & love them in the way He does! Sharing a prayer for Acts of Service today: Jesus, thank You for showing us what humble service looks like. Today and every day, please show us how to follow the example You’ve set. Please make us aware of the people in our lives that we can selflessly serve. Let our acts of service reflect our deep love for You and for the people You created.
