Today’s Bible verse! Verse 14 goes on to say, “For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” God is calling us in chapter 5 to use the liberty & freedom He gave us by humbling ourselves & lovingly serving those around us; be it family, friends, neighbors, anyone we meet during our days. In verse 16 Paul tells us the way to this is by walking in the Spirit, to help to keep our minds off the desires of the flesh focusing on Him & His will for our lives & those we come into contact with. Paul tells us again in 2 Corinthians 3:17, “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” Heavenly Father, thank You for setting us free! Today, please show us how to serve others humbly with love. We appreciate the freedom You gave us—the freedom You bought for us. Please help us to embrace Your freedom by living with intentionality, and serving others joyously through Your love. In Jesus Christ’s holy name, we pray, Amen! 🙌🏽❤️‍🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨
