Today’s Bible verse! Being more like God, requires us to be less like man; man holds grudges, God extends GRACE. If God is kind to those who are unthankful, & even evil, then we should also extend loving kindness to those around us that are unthankful or evil. It’s in our nature to feel the need for retaliation when we are wronged by another, but here in this verse, Jesus is teaching us the right way to handle those situations is to return with kindness, & pray for them, and even love them. If we keep our hearts & minds focused on Jesus and His teachings of loving others, surely it will become easier & easier to treat all those around us with His loving kindness; even our enemies need prayer & the Love of our Savior we have to share. Jesus, today I pray this verse helps us all remember to take that breath & ask, “What would Jesus do?!” before reacting in any situation, urge us to speak to You, we know You will listen & help to guide our next steps! In Your holy name, Amen! 🙌🏽❤️‍🔥🙏🏽✝️🌈✨
