A group of NSNC-KYA & Ulfa (I) militants targeted the 4 Assam Rifles Company Operating Base (COB) at Ranglum near Border Post 168 in Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district at around 8:45 AM on Republic Day. Alert security forces retaliated swiftly with heavy fire, forcing the attackers to flee. No casualties have been reported from either side. Search Operations launched.
