Security forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO)

along the border belt across 11 localities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district following reports of suspicious movement, officials said.
The operations were carried out in the Behra Kund, Potha Jungle, Surankote, Peer Tanora, Sangla, Mohalla Lohar Chandimarh, Kandi, Kangra, Keri Galhuta, Mughal Marah Mohalla Muri and Poli Wala Dhok areas of Mendhar, Mankote and Surankote.

According to officials, the search operation was initiated after residents alerted security agencies about the suspected activity.

Security measures have been heightened, and additional reinforcements have been deployed to the area.
The operation was undertaken by the Special Operations Group (SoG), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the Rashtriya Rifles, officials noted. (Agencies)

Two Weapon Smugglers held with weapons in J-K's Poonch

Police have arrested two terrorists with weapons in Jammu and Kashmir's border district of Poonch, officials said on Sunday.

Tariq Sheikh of Azamabad and Riyaz Ahmad of Chamber village were taken into custody during a raid, they said, adding that two assault rifles and some ammunition were recovered at their disclosure.

My piece of thought on Nepal crisis-
Social media platforms have emerged as the most effective toolkit for undermining sovereignty of adverse blocks/countries.
A company of a few dozen sitting in a high rise in some western state carries the ability to carry out a regime change termed as national movement , just by running some algorithm which prefers content which supports their interests.
Few recent examples are -
1- Rohingya issue - Facebook was the main culprit in exploding the issue from cities to remote villages.
