Savage Dumpling Debrief 24: Wash, Rinse, and Repeat
I'm back with the 24th SDD I'm having fun making these but I'm thinking about taking a break from making more after this season of M1 because I have a lot on my plate. Anyways lets see how The Speeders and Momo did in the last two races
Greenstone GP
Roldo Location: By the Bumblebees fan section during Yellow Eye’s Q1 run. By the CEE fans after the race
Savage Story: Swifty was selected for the race and I support it. Last time he won the GP from pole position. Swifty had a strong showing in Q1 setting the fastest time at 25 flat. Once again they got off to a slow start and spent most of the race battling for 4th and wound up finishing in 4th
Swifty got off to a bit of a slow start and fell as low as 7th. By lap 7 they worked their way up to 3rd and stayed there for the remainder of the race. As a result the Speeders move up to 6th in the team standings
Dumpling Debrief: Momo was selected and had an excellent qualifying session setting the 6th fastest time in Q1 and locking themselves into Q2 in the process. Q2 was also a good result as after 3 laps they finished 5th. Maybe they can have a good race?
The answer to that question is no, what the heck is happening with them. Once again, they stumbled down the order after a solid Q2 and wound up finishing in 15th, scoring 1 point. Momo said it best on the team radio after the race, something has to be figured out
Orion’s Belt GP
Roldo Location: Underneath the starting blocks during Q2. By the star, Rigel, before the race start
Lolcow of the event: JMR for constantly changing the noscript of the video. Also for putting in click baity noscripts
Savage Story: Speedy was selected and qualifying went much better than last time. They easily made it to Q2 and had a good race, running 1st at one point. A poor exit from the naked turn killed them as they wound up finishing in P4. Still a great qualifying effort
Another good race from the captain. They were never really in contention for the win as they were in a battle in the lower top 10 for most of the race. I’ll take a 5th place finish and the team is now in 4th place, within striking distance of the podium for the teams championship
Dumpling Debrief: Mimo was selected to run and had an amazing Q1 setting the 2nd fastest time behind Amaya. Q2 didn’t go as well as they would up dropping to the back of the pack and finished 7th
For the most part it was a good race for Mimo as they were in the top 10 for most of the race. Unfortunately they dropped like a rock in the late stages of the race and wound up finishing in 16th. Both Momo and Mimo are out of the running for the individual championship (they can still podium but that would require and act from the marble Gods at this point)
Other News: Yellow Eye picks up career win number 3 after an almost flawless performance at Greenstone. Red Eye had a disastrous start at Orion’s Belt as they came to a dead stop shortly after the gate drop and finished 1 lap down. Smoggy wins at Orion’s belt, closing the gap to CEE. Indie had an amazing race in front of the home crowd finishing 4th. Yellow and Clementin are also eliminated from championship contention (they can still podium but I don’t see that happening)

Is Cloudy challenging Red eye's GOAT status?
Now, It's obvious that Red Eye is the M1 Goat, and by a mile. With 9 career race wins, 17 race podiums, 451 points, 3 individual noscripts, 4 final podiums, and need I say more, (all stats are as of December 27th, 2025), it's obvious, no, FACT Red Eye is the GOAT(I'm a proud speeders fan, btw). But, is Cloudy catching up?
Ever since joining M1 in season 4, they have been a force to be reckoned with. 2 wins in their rookie season and almost winning the individual championship, were it not for a lackluster 15th that gave it to momo by 1 point. Season 5, they didn't win a race, but got 3 bronzes and finished in fourth. this year, they have 2 wins, both of which were maximum point performances, and sitting in 2nd fighting for an individual championship again, and have the hazers in the lead of the team championship. This adds up to 4 career wins, 7 career podiums, and 227 career points(again, as of December 27th, 2025).
This begs the question, can Cloudy reach a point where in lets say, 5-6 years time, people start debating whether Cloudy or Red Eye is the M1 GOAT? Something like people do with Ronaldo vs Messi, or Jordan vs LeBron in real life.
This may be a hot take, but I think that in the near future, Cloudy will reach and maybe even surpass Red Eye as the M1 GOAT. Now before Marble_Enthusiast_3 comes at me, hear me out. Cloudy has the raw speed, as seen in today's race. He(or they, idk if the marbles are gendered, honestly) has serious overtaking skills, poise under pressure. He's is relentless on marbles he's chasing until they make a mistake, and then he pounces. He's also consistent as well, with what's about to be his 3rd top 4 finish overall in as many seasons, and maybe a M1 noscript(if Red Eye manages to falter again, wishful thinking here🤗). These are all qualities of Red Eye. Cloudy has also shown he can beat Red Eye on track, as shown in Sleet Street S4.
Now, as stated earlier, the current M1 GOAT is Red Eye, and it isn't close. But, if Cloudy keeps their current trajectory, could we see Cloudy interjecting himself into the GOAT conversation?🤔
This would require him to win a championship, more likely 2 or 3, and continue to consistently get top 3 finishes overall, and beating Red Eye on track when possible would absolutely help. All of these tasks are insanely hard, but if any marble can do it, it has to be Cloudy. But what do y'all think? Can Cloudy catch up in a couple of years time? Is Red Eye too far away, or do y'all have another challenger in mind?

Duck Digest 39: Billy's Back at the Mountain
Billy gave us a Bronze medal with a podium last week, what can he do pulling a back-to-back this week? We are at Misty Mountain, somehow. I don’t think anyone who isn’t a hazer actually knows how to get here. I think we just get close and the mist takes us. Anyways, Let’s see how Billy gets along.
Duck Digest 39: Magnificent Misty Mountain
Qualifying Report:
Billy nails Q3 and easily makes Q2 comfortably. In the sprint, they go from 3rd backwards immediately but fights back at the end of the first sprint lap. They get back to 3rd and blow it on the last lap, losing 3 places and will start 6th in the race.
Race Review:
Billy goes backwards immediately. Then, they get back to 6th by the end of lap 2. He slowly moves up to 4th then 2nd. He gets into a big fight with Yellow Eye, Stinger, and Eve for the podium in the middle of the race. Billy takes third on lap 18 and holds on to take another podium! What a great result for that side of the garage. This showed true mastery of the track which we saw with P3 in Q1. As a team, the Ducks now sit in 7th place overall and well in the fight for a top-5 finish being only 2 points behind the Pinkies.
Host Happenings: The Hazers
Cloudy makes Q2 and secures pole in front of the home fans. A massive cheer went up around the stadium when he crossed the line to hold off Ruzzy. He mentioned to me in the media pen that “The home crowd and familiarity with the fog was what really led me home at the end of the Sprint.”
In the race Cloudy stays in the lead pack and then on lap 8/9 takes the lead and checks out for the last 10 laps or so. A massive win for the home hero which was felt throughout the entire crowd today. Usually Hazers are known for being a little quiet and mysterious, especially at home, but today they showed their true colors. What a feeling around the mountain.
Other News
In other news, this result from Cloudy puts them 4 points ahead of Crazy Cat’s Eyes in the team standings. We will see how the individual standings look when Red Eye presumably takes to the track next week but currently the legendary marble has a 2 point lead over Cloudy.
In terms of biggest climber and hardest faller, both Stinger and Indie made up 10 positions in the race, while Yeller lost 15. They seemed to get lost in the fog and had no confidence which led to no pace for the Mellow Yellow racer.
That is all for Misty Mountain. I need to find a way out of here, or just let the mist take me back home. Up next, Mallard will need to start pulling her own weight when we return to the Electron Expressway as we cover her and the Cobalts on the next Duck Digest!

Where is the Collector's Tin?
I was looking on the merch website for the Collector's Tin with one marble of each team, but there's no page for it? I found an FAQ and I found social media posts about it, but the links from those just redirect back to the main page of the website. I'd really like to get one without needing to buy the hyper loop set.

Detailed stats: M1S6 GP6 (Orion's Belt)
Here are the Orion's Belt GP stats, still posted over a week after the release of the GP video... I will try my best to post the GP7 stats before the release of GP8. But for now, let's enjoy the GP6 stats! Starting off with the official time deltas for each racer after each lap!
Time deltas after each lap
The biggest deficit that Smoggy managed to overcome was 1.68 seconds (after lap 3)!
Now, here's what this data looks like on a chart!
Time deltas after each lap, visualized
Well, that's a bit difficult to analyze, isn't it? How about I just remove Red Eye from this chart, for the sake of comprehensibility?
Time deltas after each lap, visualized \(1st-19th\)
That's better. Though there's still not much notable to talk about. How about the chart that displays the racers' positions after every second?
Race standings after every second
One line here that stands out to me as unique is Snowy's. Most racers mostly just gained/lost one position at a time, and while that also applies to Snowy, there were also several instances of them gaining/losing multiple positions in one second!
That being said, a lot of these lines are quite chaotic towards the beginning of the race, especially in the midpack. I wonder, does this race set any season-wide records?
Race statistics \(First 5 seconds of the race are excluded from the overtake stats\)
Yes indeed! This GP now has the most top 5 overtakes and total overtakes out of any GP in this season so far, and it also ties Sparkle Central for most amount of yellow flags! Aquamaring still leads in amount of lead changes though.
Next up, all individual lap times compared! Normally the amount of lap times to compare is divisible by 20 because that's how many racers participate in the GP's, but in this case, because Red Eye finished one lap less than the other racers, there are 279 lap times to compare.
All lap times compared \(1st-140th\)
All lap times compared \(141st-279th\)
Red Eye actually set the top 2 fastest laps! Their fastest lap was 0.30 seconds ahead of 2nd place, and 0.34 seconds ahead of any of their opponents' fastest laps. All in all, Red Eye managed to set some pretty impressive lap times in this GP!
Now, onto the overtake standings!
https://preview.redd.it/c4rhxrt0z0ag1.png?width=2140&format=png&auto=webp&s=67dc66ebd4616e555b456f010195f20ff7561feb
The team standings remain as close as they've been throughout this season, with Kobalts now taking the lead by 2 overtakes. However, for the first time, it seems like there is a clear frontrunner in the racers' standings, that being Cerulean, who has now taken the lead by 12 overtakes!
Indie had the most overtakes in this GP, with 37 overtakes! This actually sets a record in this season for most amount of overtakes in a single GP so far!
Shining Swarm, who were 2nd in the team standings after the previous GP, overtook a racer a measly 9 times, which results in them ironically being overtaken by 9 teams in the team standings.
They at least still had a good result in the race though, which cannot be said for Red Eye and the Crazy Cat's Eyes, who are still severely struggling in the overtake standings. Logically, consistent qualifications on pole make

it harder to accumulate overtakes... who would've thought? 🤔
Next are the position change standings!
https://preview.redd.it/mhohjjg011ag1.png?width=2139&format=png&auto=webp&s=af069038c97f8a646c163935e462c108d82133ce
If you ignore the ties, there's quite a bit of symmetry in the top 4 in the two standings here. The top 4 in the team standings are Snowballs, Hazers, Pinkies and Solar Flares, while in the racers' standings it's Snowy, Smoggy, Pinky Rosa and Radiance!
After GP5, Snowballs and Pinkies swept these standings, but the Hazers have joined the fight at the top now after Smoggy gained 12 positions from the starting grid, the most out of any racer in this GP!
Red Eye's crash results in them getting an automatic -19, which is a major setback for them in these standings. Though they're still quite far ahead of last place in both the team and racers' standings, because... well, Momo. At least you already know how GP7 goes for them!
Next, time spent in the lead!
https://preview.redd.it/x483mj8621ag1.png?width=2140&format=png&auto=webp&s=68a5d599938971538119e97839a0ca4f481ead36
Crazy Cat's Eyes are still untouchable in this stat. However, something unprecedented happened in this GP - for all 5 of the racers that led the race at some point in this GP (Smoggy, Sheep, Glimmer, Mimo, Speedy), this is the first GP this season that they had led at any point!
This reduces the amount of racers on 0 seconds from 22 down to 17, and reduces the amount of teams on 0 seconds from 6 down to 3 - Oceanics, Solar Flares and Team Galactic. I'm still curious to see whether anyone has any guesses for how many of those 3 will remain on 0 seconds by the end of the season!
And finally, amount of times mentioned by Greg Woods!

This really would be a different story if the team standings was just the sum of the racers' mentions rather than the team names. But instead, there is quite the dichotomy in the two standings here. The racer name standings are dominated by the two Crazy Cat's Eyes, with Red Eye now taking a 21 mention lead over Yellow Eye, who has a further 19 mention lead over Smoggy in 3rd. But on the other hand, the team name standings are dominated by the Hazers, as the Hazers are the 2nd most mentioned team name behind the hosts of the GP for like the 5th time this season already, and now their lead is a total of 14 mentions over 2nd place.
Oh yeah, and the Hazers' home GP is next. Any guesses for by how much the Hazers will lead the team name standings after GP7, and whether they'll have over double the amount of 2nd place?
But for now, that's all the stats for the M1S6 Orion's Belt GP! Feel free to discuss your thoughts on the stats and/or use them for anything!

Next are the position change standings!
